Speaking of which.. Constructor, where's that goddamned Luger?!
On my desktop.
Will this gun use custom animations or does it work with the revolver animation somehow?
it's a modified tranqulizer gun that replaces the sapper and shoots flechettes that attract the fire of the nearest sentry for a certain amount of time the animations are the least of our worries
it's a modified tranqulizer gun that replaces the sapper and shoots flechettes that attract the fire of the nearest sentry for a certain amount of time the animations are the least of our worries
That actually sounds like an *almost* decent idea for a weapon, although the cooldown time would have to be pretty steep. Also replace the flechettes with a beacon.
that's what the flechette looks like
Yes to everything about this.
flame thrower and hat together, changed the hats light warp to the pyros. ill change it to a more off white as suggested tonight once i get back from work :D
If you're planning on a Melee weapon for this pack (I needed to post this idea asap in case some beats me to it so I didn't read the pages after this was posted) make it a literal HOT ROD A searing, iron pole.
it's a modified tranqulizer gun that replaces the sapper and shoots flechettes that attract the fire of the nearest sentry for a certain amount of time the animations are the least of our worries
Sooo... It's The Whistler for Spy? I'm ok with that idea.
Yeah. As a lover of cheesy 60s spy fiction (The theme to The Man From UNCLE is my cellphone ringtone) I've been giving this a lot of thought, but I've found it really difficult to come up with anything.
How about a gun disguised as a cane? I'm pretty certain I've seen that somewhere (also sword concealed as a cane), and it would look really classy and fit well with many of Spy's clothes. [sp]Mostly, I'm just making this suggestion as an excuse to post this awesome Fred Astaire video[/sp]:v: [editline]22nd August 2012[/editline]
The next Modding Competition definitely needs to be espionage related.
That would be kickass. Hell, a competition that is about items strictly related to the characters professions rather than any of their other stereotypes would be awesome too. [editline]22nd August 2012[/editline] Also, there's like a dozen of moves in this video that would look in character, classy, and awesome for Spy taunts.
Hey, Fred Astaire IS TF2 related, after all...
How about a gun disguised as a cane?
The Ronin made a cane sword for the Demo. Speaking of disguised weapons, this needs to be put into the game.
I made more progress on the spanner! It's WIP name is "Attitude Adjustment". Unless someone has a better name. Also, anyone want to make a normal map for me so this thing has engraved text? I was thinking 1" - DROP FORGED - MANN CO - WE MAKE TOOLS AND GET INTO FIGHTS
I kinda think The Grease Monkey or something more wrench related would be a good name

Is that close enough?
It would be neat if someone made a sound mod for the Mann vs. Machine robots to make them have a voice like this:
You want an idea for a classy hidden spy weapon? Two words, CIGAR DAGGER. "The Smoke & Dagger" Page king demands a retro spy theme after the NOTLU2!
Spooky dooky bat man. And these pics came out in bad quality. :c I am gonna jiggle bone the shit outta this thing. Bird man of Aberdeen style.
I can't rate this winner enough. It's too cute! I love it! I want one!
flame thrower and hat together, changed the hats light warp to the pyros. ill change it to a more off white as suggested tonight once i get back from work :D
You know, I just realized. If you release the flamethrower as a degreaser replacement, and the hat as a replacement for the attendant, the set bonus actually makes sense. [sp]vroom vroom[/sp][sp]gotta go fast[/sp]

My suggestion would be to go with closer to solid colors and try to differentiate the colors on different parts more.
Needs more evil. [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/24102295/for%20others/M'Nyeh.png[/t] I am thinking of making the mustache into it's own misc with a monocle over the sunglasses. But then I would need to find something to go with the collar. Which will also need someone to rig it up all nice and good.
The texture is a bit dirty, which really hurts the readability, except for close-ups. To me how I did it makes sense for TF2's texture style, but I get what you are saying. Don't really know how I would make the colors more readable and make it as if it is fur though. Are there any preexisting workshop items or things in TF2 I could use as an example?
[img] Someone actually did it?
Didn't know someone actually had a concept art for it, but I based it off a friends concept art.
I am gonna jiggle bone the shit outta this thing. Bird man of Aberdeen style.
Speaking of the Bird man, could someone please fix the jiggle bones? They like to have seizures.

I wouldn't mind trying to jigglebone that thing myself. :v: [editline]22nd August 2012[/editline]
Speaking of the Bird man, could someone please fix the jiggle bones? They like to have seizures.
Jigglebone behaviors are sometimes quirky and like to snap back to ref positions without settling back to stock normally. it'll sometimes cause spastic instances like with the Bird-man or other items like the Birdman of Aberdeen.

[T]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/35490615/bat/IT%27SAGODDAMNBATMAN.png[/T]
Your friend is good at drawing. It was marvelous.
Speaking of the Bird man, could someone please fix the jiggle bones? They like to have seizures.
I think it getting facial flexes ala Archimedes would big a bigger concern then it's jiggleones.
Damn. I wouldn't mind trying to jigglebone that thing myself. :v:
If I can't figure out the jigglies I will send it your way, but I think I should try learn how to do it at the least. :O
I think it getting facial flexes ala Archimedes would big a bigger concern then it's jiggleones.
That reminds me. What the hell is wrong with Archimedes's eyelids?
Now the point of this picture is the guy in green has some stuff that'd be pretty damn cool on pyro.
dem lack of shorts for pyro. lol [editline]23rd August 2012[/editline]
You want an idea for a classy hidden spy weapon?
