Pretty much all the items in the MvM are kinda lazy looking.

Yeah, something like that. I think the kicker is though that valve wanted to avoid having the bot heads take up too much of the weapons profile and block the screen.

Speaking of which does anybody have a link to a hud that has the ammo counter more noticeable when playing without the view models.

Ned suggested that they should have been colored to match the normal grenades, which would have worked but still have been pretty ugly.

The item itself [I]kinda[/I] works on the bots because the muted grey works well in conjunction with the blue and gray color scheme the bots have, but on players it looks like trash.

Also not sure why they made it demo exclusive when the soldier bots (and the pyro bots I belive) use them too.
