Wash rinse repeat until they start freaking out about either A) How much they hate the Red-Tape Recorder, or B) How you're "Hacking the game" and downgrading their buildings. I wasn't even on a Valve server when this was happening.

I wasn't even on a Valve server when this was happening.[/QUOTE] I feel like the Red Tape Recorder should also drain ammo from sentries/metal from dispensers, and add cool-down time to teleporters while it downgrades buildings so that the engie wastes extra time repairing and re-upgrading his stuff. That way, it might get fewer complaints about it being useless compared to the default sapper.

But yeah, a cool-down/ammo/metal penalty would be interesting. Although stealing metal from dispensers could utterly cripple the engy to the point where he just can't repair anything.

Glad people are speaking up to say "Hey, not as many people think it's useless as you think they do."
