Well for one, the amount of stress you could get from doing over 15 classes at once.

Two, the fact that you'd barely have any time per class if you had over 15 classes at once.

Sure, it can be much more intelligent-profitable, but it requires you to be a workaholic: Doing nothing but work every day, even without sleeping.

That might be a shock for you.
In Russia you don't get to choose classes.
You get to choose a profile of the class (usually Math+Physics oriented/ Biology+Chemistry oriented/ Humanitarian sciences oriented)
That decreases the amount of certain lessons and increases the amount of other ones (i.e. I am in a math+physics class, so I get less of chemistry and biology lessons, but more math, informatics and physics)

From 1st till 8th everyone has the same lessons.

I got the same sort of "pick your class" kind of thing.

I chose Bioligy, Math and Gym as highprofile subjects. I still have to take everything else, just not as much as people who chose the subjects.
