jeez, it's an atmospheric thing. You have to play it. You have to immerse yourself in the character. You have to feel the bugs whizzing by your head in the headset.
You can't watch some screaming 20 something worthless youtube shit playing the game and feel you actually played the game.

I fucking hate my friend, I asked to help me move some items from my alt to my main account.
I log in and a few minutes later I realise he didn't send a trade request and appears offline, since steam was bugged and I could restart asked another friend to trade with him and then give my stuff back
Then he suddenly goes offline, with my stuff still on his fucking backpack

goddamnit shut the fuck up, the game is scary when you play it, even in the middle of the day. It's literally 100% worse when played at night with the lights off. Watching a video of it literally will do NOTHING to you, play it because you may need new pants after you're done. there's even a demo, and at the beginning of the game it tells you how to get the best experience of it. it isn't so scary as it makes you paranoid, and the more paranoid you get, the more easily you get scared from the little things, so IT'S SCARY. THAT IS FINAL.
