So before we go onto much more rambling about off- and on-topic posts, I must ask: Why did Valve ever create the Amputator, Solemn Vow, and Third Degree? Why make the stocks have practically no use whatsoever once you get these items?

They could just add a situational downside to them. And honestly, IMO, the only REAL reason why people use the Axtinguisher is not because [b]that[/b] is overpowered. No. It's the Degreaser. The Axtinguisher itself is actually a nice weapon. It rewards you for actually taking the time to puff the enemy, bring out the Axtinguisher, and kill or severely injure the enemy. The Degreaser, however, just takes all of the skill away, with a barely suffering pair of downsides: One that isn't a problem to deal with to begin with (afterburn), and the other that doesn't matter at all when you can just use the Axtinguisher (damage penalty). Honestly, had the Degreaser not exist, had it not wield a stupidly fast weapon switch, or had it have downside(s) that balance out the weapon switch, I could even consider the Axtinguisher as a side-grade.

It was like a small community of people whose common link was TF2, and while there was discussion about it, it was less about the game, and more about the people who are playing it. I can't really justify why I like this thread without sounding like an idiot, but I like it here.

They get this brief period of time where they literally do nothing, not even attack, and then after the time period, they just start being back to normal, again.
