After about 300 hours of playing TF2, I have traded my vintage football helmet for 1 hat. My only hat and my most precious hat. My Sombrero. Fuck it takes way to long to get even one hat.

Hell man, you guys are crazy. I'm going through hell and back just trying to get one hat I like for every class. I've been able to make a few good trades and I've worked my way up to about 6 hats now but it seems like I can't make any more progress than that, because for every good trade I make I seem to end up back where I started somehow. Seems like everywhere I look everyone's offering me "LOL STAINLESS POT FOR UR FAMILIAR FEZ" and shit like that. I was able to get two Familiar Fez's, traded both of them away. Got about 2 vintage hats from each. Not bad, but I'm astounded how you guys can start with just a couple hats and work your way up to 60+ hats. Fucking crazy man. I must be looking in the wrong places. I'm about ready to just give up with the trading and keep what I've got because it's an exercise in frustration trying to find good deals that aren't complete shit. I'd love to get a good collection going but I just haven't found the right people, it seems.
