I hate Engy hatless, and the Safe'n'Sound is to me nothing more than a hatless Engy with a misc item.

I would keep it if I crafted it, since I am desperate for any Engy hat at the moment as long as it isn't hatless.
I would however craft it the same instant I got another Engy hat.

I wish the Safe'N'Sound had gone over his hat rather than removed it, it would make more sense and it would look a lot more cool rather than how retarded it makes him look at the moment :(
