I don't get what's so awesome about it.
The only way in which it fits the Spy is that it's a stereotypically "French" hat. The Fedora and Billycock are far more awesome and suit the character better, I think.
Also, the fact that friendlies don't see your hat when you're disguised, because the masks replace it, makes any Spy hat redundant 90% of the time.

We can make a new class called Wigs if you want, but the Afro certainly isn't a hat. The Hound Dog is a Hatless but the Magistrate's Mullet is kinda in a grey area.

It's just words so please don't give me some weird logic about how anything that adds new models to the playermodel is a hat and anything that fiddles with bodygroups is a hatless. Or else the Gentle Manne's Service Medal would stop being a Misc and become a Hatless, and then were would we be?
Only (non event) hat I've got is the Soldier's Stash, which I like. I don't care for any other soldier hat and I am currently working for a Pyro hat.
