I would love the items we got last year became wearable all the year.
Haunted versions only. Some are unfitting enough to not be wearable all year round so we may as well put a limit on how often we'll see them while giving the haunted quality an actual use.
i hope this is better than the smissmis update where they did the same thing and added 10 things

Where they what

Request a mass-submission of items to the workshop and, of those submissions, add 3 weapons and 13 cosmetics. 2 of which were granted randomly to Steam users for completing coal achievements, regardless if they played TF2 or not.
I'm looking forward to cool interactive stuff like bossfights and underworld.
They could visit Glove World!
What would be great is some kind of Monster-Mash mode, where 1 person controls one of the bosses and everyone else tries to survive. And add a ghost boss.
I thought it was already overfilled with Halloween items, already.
Tough luck.
I really hope they don't pick the Horrific Hillbilly set for Pyro, no offense to the author, but it just makes zero sense on Pyro to me.
I want The Revenant Hunter set in
I'm pretty hyped for Halloween, I'm gonna collect all of last years costumes.
I hope haunted items never do anything special, I traded one away only last week coz I had a non-haunted dupe
We all thought haunted would bypass the restriction.....
We all thought haunted would bypass the restriction.....
I'd say it's a little too late to add some kind of bonus to the haunted items, and it would be kind of a dick move to people who traded theirs away.
I still say we should have Spookyvision, which would be activated upon wearing a Halloween item and only other people in Spookyvision would be able to see them. This would also lower the ridiculous amount of Gibusses seen on every server.
Needs more 2spooky Spy watches so I can upvote them.
Seriously, Spy needs a new watch with some new gimmick. Dead Ringer and Invis Watch is getting kind of old hat.
I had this idea that a ninja-style smoke bomb would make a cool replacement for the watch. Throwing it down would mess up the vision of nearby enemies for a couple of seconds for a quick getaway. Then it has to recharge similar to Jarate.
I honestly hope no weapons make it in the Halloween Update. The reason?

These hapless, gorgeous souls have been turned into reskins, ones that could easily have new stats, instead. Heck, they're less practical than their respective originals, because said originals can be used to activate the Saharan Spy and Special Delivery sets, respectively.
I can just feel that if more weapons were added to this update, they will be the amazing submissions, but they will become unfortunate victims of the "reskin symptom".

Reskins are the lowest sellers, they have no excuse to add another reskin for a non-promotional item. Items that have unique things such as the Sharp Dresser and Lollichop are excusable.

It's a shame that Wanga Pick is another re-skin weapon. I mean look at it... It looks bloody perfect as a new item with special attributes for Halloween.
wanga prick and unarmed combat are by the same guy, too
Poor guy.

Yeah rip.
he made the flair anyway so I guess he still makes nice dosh
Valve. Please. No reskins.
Well, I'm all up for new reskins as most weapons aren't allowed on ETF2L anyway. I know, I'm alone with that opinion.

better that than never getting in at all, when else could Halloween-themed weapons be added?
anyway those two weapons have been pretty damn negatively recieved, just like most non-promo reskins. hopefully Valve have learnt SOMETHING from that...

They could've just not release the weapons for that update, then release them, later on, with actual stats. I'd rather take no new weapons than to have more weapons that does the same thing as something else.

I don't think It's that hard to create an unique stats.
I don't think It's that hard to create an unique stats.
Apparently, it is, to Valve.
it's a lot harder to code than it is to come up with
it's a lot harder to code than it is to come up with
Depends. Valve created TF2. Valve created Source Engine. Valve knows how to add.
It would suck if there were no new weapons for Halloween. I was really hoping this would get in:
I don't think It's that hard to create an unique stats.
It is. When you create a new weapon with stats (except if it's +damage and -clip or something equally simple), you have to think about every single other weapon, class ability, game mode etc. The Sticky Jumper is a good example. Most consider it a really good unlock but it's undeniable that before the nerf, it was an unstoppable capturing machine on some CTF maps.
