7zip is vastly superior to Winrar. Free, too.
I prefer WinRar for ONE reason, though: If I pack a file up fpr FPSB and use 7z, it becomes a 7z file and people can't open it with WinRar.
haven't tried it since the update, whats fucked with it? all the buttons and stuff?
It fails to load completely.
It's nagware.
Depends on if you get the Trial Version or the Trial Version or get a code. Trial for most = This is a Trial Software notice Trial for some = No Trial Software Notice [editline]26th October 2010[/editline]
Since when can't you open .7z with winrar?
When I tried that (long ago) my WinRar froze.
But why use trialware when you can get a better, simpler, easier to use compression program that by design is free?
I use both, because I am a sucker for nifty little gadgets or programs that I may or may not ever use.
When I tried that (long ago) my WinRar froze.
It should do it. Mine does it. Also, if you go here: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm Then scroll down and click on the Localized English version, you don't get the annoying trail messages! (At least I've never had one in my life)
Back on topic, has the author released a fix?
Not yet.
Get 7Zip. WinRAR is too naggy.
I prefer WinRar for ONE reason, though: If I pack a file up fpr FPSB and use 7z, it becomes a 7z file and people can't open it with WinRar.
You can make .zips with it which can be opened with WinRAR. On topic, I hope the maker of tr_walkway releases a new version soon.
Oh thanks I love you smashman
Did it work? I wasn't 100% sure it would.
I will open zip files with my mind.
Leonard, what are you doing? I'M OPENING THIS ZIP FILE WITH MY MIND!!! It isn't working Leonard. IT'S OPENING!!!!
I love how no one posted the link for OP.
I don't even know why Microsoft wants people to pay for Winrar. I doubt a single logical person has bought the product.
