I believe it has something about the placement of the classes in the class selection menu and
"7 8 9" is pronounced "Seven ate nine" if you skim over it.
Yet the Spy is the 9th class, so it doesn't make much sense.

Why is this a joke? It's more like a bonus for people who like games. If you don't like Worms, you don't deserve to get a promotional item which shows that you like Worms Reloaded. Same goes for Sam&Max and L4D2.

Back when I tried to play it on a friends PS3 (like, a year after launch), it was a ghost town, it was unoptimized and just didn't feel right. Those mods can't fix that and require you to fuck about a bit with the PS3 to host servers with them.
At least the 360 version still has some kind of playerbase.

I've been with that playerbase. The ps3's playerbase is SO much superior than on the 360.

I used to like the game. Then it became a race to get every hat. I see almost every thread here is about hats or trading. If you don't believe me, click the TF2 forum and read through the threads. I had to actually scroll before seeing something about a battle.
It may be funny to call it a hat trading simulator, but it really is one. I know I will be rated dumb by most hat collectors or whatever you want to call them, but my statement stays true because of it.
"Spy is funny, always use him" is a good rule of thumb. /sarcasm
I always thought the best joke was 'Why did the Spy cross the road? He never really was on your side'.
Never heard some of these others though.

A Heavy, Pyro, and A scout are walking through a desert. All of a sudden they find a tent full of women. They all then start to get very friendly with the woman. Suddenly, a seer comes in and all yells at them.
"These are my women! You shall be punished according to your job."
The seer then lines the three up against the wall. First comes the Heavy.
"What's your job?" the seer said.
"I like to kill cowards." the Heavy says. The seer then take the Heavy and as his me shoot his thing off
"What about you?" The seer than says to the Pyro.
"I like to BURN!" The Pyro says. The seer than has the Pyro's thing burnt off.
"Ands what about you.What's your job?" The seer says to the Scout.
The scout replies "I like to bonk people all day long."
