It's one of those "shoehorn" miscs.
I only ever saw it being utilized well once, and that was with a Cheater's Lament and an Apparition's Aspect. I forget who it was, but it was pretty cool. Otherwise, blech.
I dislike skull hats altogether.

Oh my god it's full of stars. I really liked this hat before simply because you could do so much with it and now I like it even more. I must have it.

I did not know those two were usable together, I thought they both occupied the head replacement region

I thought the Last Breath + Headsplitter was cool before they made the Last Breath look like a caveman's skull. Sadly, this is the only picture I have.

I don't mind that they changed the shape of it. It's more reminiscent of Pyro's normal head shape and clips less horribly with hats now.
I find it looks nice with the Voodoo JuJu.

Loadout glitches are the only way to get it done, and it's certainly worth it :v:
I still don't like the cheater's lament with it though, simply because the things that make it look obviously fake clashes with making the other 2 items look like a real ghost.

They changed the shape of the skull to be less round and fit the shape of the pyro's head

Making it not clip with just about every hat was truly a horrible design choice. They should repent by making it so large that literally every hat will clip into it.

Just to be clear, I DON'T hate this misc, in fact I love it. I hate the fact that it isn't a hat. It doesn't make any sense being a misc. It clips with EVERY hat including the default hardhat as you can see above. I don't understand why Valve doesn't just make it a hat with 2 different styles; one bald and one with the default hat.
The fact that you have to wear the Texas Slim Dome Shine just for it to look acceptable is just annoying.

I think it just stems down from the fact I disliked Ezio's clothes in Revelations, they're just so dull. I've always wanted an Assassin Hood for the spy, but as his iconic white hood from AC2 & Revelations.

The issue I have is that it looks really out of place. Also not to mention that most owners I've seen paint it an obnoxiously bright color.

Here's what happened:
Original last breath clipped with some hats.
Daimao makes fix.
Fix accepted and put into game but valve breaks the hat positioning that Daimao packaged with it so hats now float over the pyro's last breath head.
Instead of fixing what they broke they COMPLETELY RUIN THE TOP SHAPE OF THE HAT and [i]then[/i] fix hat positioning so that you have to wear a hat with it to hide the goddamn lump.
