Hng (crate), it would be awesome if this was installed on the trade server.
or a shrink ray so you can jump on spies and squish them
Got any tips for Mann Up?
Make sure you have at least 2 hours to spare before you start a mission :v: Class loadouts should be: Medic with kritz, Heavy with the minigun that slows people down + sandvich, Demo with pipes & Scottish resistance, Engie with jag + wrangler + frontier justice, Dunno what solly should run, I haven't played him yet. Some people have said black box, others said cow mangler. Pyro with degreaser, his second/melee doesn't matter much as he shouldn't ever use them. Shotgun is what i've seen our pyros run. Canteens are GREAT. Use them as much as possible. As a medic, your first thing to aim for is the share canteen upgrade (600 points). Use that and get kritz or uber canteens depending on the situation. Heavy should run kritz canteens as well, unless you're defending against a massive wave of heavies in which case uber is probably best. Engie should upgrade speed later into the game when there's a lot of sentry-busters so he can escape them and set up anywhere he needs. Demoman should always lay a sticky kritz-trap with the medic before the round starts. Upgrade your pipe rather than your scottish resistance. Tanks should be taken out by kritzing a pyro and having everyone else shoot the wheels (you do more damage if you shoot the wheels). Also for pyro, use your air-blast to knock small classes into reset traps - if the bomb is next to a reset trap (eg behind the house on mannworks, a pit on coal town or the bridge on decoy), let a scout or normal pyro/demo/solly pick it up and airblast them into the reset trap. It does wonders for helping push the round into your favour. Medic should mainly be on the heavy, he can output the most damage when kritzed. Use your kritz canteen as a heavy to take out large groups of scouts or pyros. SPYCHECK! Seriously, if you don't spycheck and kill the spies, they will rape you in the butt with a random facestab and you'll lose. The same goes for snipers. Don't wait till you're stuck in your spawn because the snipers are spawncamping you to kill them, kill them as they drop down or pop up. No real advice for soldier, I never played him and he never seemed to need kritzing (I was mostly a medic for the tour). In total the tour took around 15 hours to do, with failed maps on the first & second day included. ------ Seeing as i'm on a new page, editing in the info about tours here:
Some info on tours and vouchers: A tour is all 6 missions, you only get a guaranteed bot killer weapon after completing your 6th mission. Each mission you get a random drop, which can be a normal weapon, a hat or any of the new MVM robot hats. You cannot gain extra bot killer weapons by using vouchers on your last mission, you will only get the normal mission drops. Vouchers are useless, do not buy them unless you love throwing money away. So to get every bot killer weapon, you need to do a shitload of tours. These things are going to be expensive as hell to buy. Also your badge simply resets after you beat a tour. It doesn't show tours completed. EDIT Actually, it might level up. I noticed my badge is now level 2, but i'm not sure if it was originally level 2 to start off with.
[editline]18th August 2012[/editline]
Aww yea.
Oh damn we need to port Shrink mode from Timesplitters right now The lower your score is the smaller you are, and the higher your score is the bigger you are Not too sure how it would work seeing as TF2 isn't a deathmatch game but... Oh god and a reverse shrink ray weapon should be made so that your enemies become huge and easy to hit valve pls
Downloading PCSX2 right now to play my old TS2 disk. Not only shrink mode, but Training Grounds would make a great basis for an A/D or MvM map.
Delete your TF folder, saving anything important.
It worked for me, thanks a lot.

It says that if you beat a repeated mission, you get to keep the ticket. That mean's if you do all missions and buy another ticket, you get to play indefinitely?
It says that if you beat a repeated mission, you get to keep the ticket. That mean's if you do all missions and buy another ticket, you get to play indefinitely?
I believe so. The real question is: do we continue to get items? I would think so seeing as you can't use the tickets again.
It says that if you beat a repeated mission, you get to keep the ticket. That mean's if you do all missions and buy another ticket, you get to play indefinitely?
im pretty sure the "completed" status resets once you beat all 6
It says that if you beat a repeated mission, you get to keep the ticket. That mean's if you do all missions and buy another ticket, you get to play indefinitely?
You can do that with up to 5 missions, with 6 tickets. That is, you can win 5 missions then use that 6th one to play all the other missions indefinitely, but if you play and win the 6th one you didn't finish, your progress resets and its woosh back to square one.
im pretty sure the "completed" status resets once you beat all 6
Because of money. :D
im pretty sure the "completed" status resets once you beat all 6
I don't think so. I think the only time you will have to buy more is when they release more missions ("We’ll be releasing more Tours of Duty in the future"). This way you don't have to pay a buttload to get all of the Botkiller Weapon, but the challenge lies in beating the missions.
items server down again?

...well fuck you too Valve. We won wave 7 but there was a single medibot glitched at spawn from Demo's sticky explosion.

Engineer robots have robot noises but no model, and fall back to their normal programming. [thumb]http://marlamin.com/u/Team_Fortress_2_2012-08-18_13-30-59.jpg[/thumb] Hard as shit though when there's load of them with high health. Sentries everywhere!

What happens when you finish another mission? Do you get more items?
