I do like how pop files support random spawning of sentries around the map too.
Not that random, they like to build sentries at the base, none across the map.
(And teleporters where they spawn :v:)

Wait a second.
You are supposed to get items from completing mission?
I didn't get anything probably because item servers went down right when I finished so fuck me then.
[editline] Fuck you [/editline]
I have been robbed.
Fuck you Gabe.

I mean the specific command in pop files to instaspawn in any level sentry you want. With inputs for where and minimum distance apart.
Engineer bots will just place sentries where the nav files tell them to.
-automerge-

Tried that, but found no sentries were spawned. Might be doing it on the wrong map though.
Can someone explain? There are 3 maps. Each with 3 missions. Only difference is difficulty, right?(normal, advanced, advanced2(actually yesterday it was called IronMan)) Am i right?
Hello? Someone?
Do I have to do a Tour of Duty in one go or does the counter stay at how many missions you've done so when you've done six together you complete a ToD?

You can do them in separate goes.

No. You only get a robot killer item after completing 1 tour, which is all 6 missions.
Hello? Someone?
That's correct. But maps are separate from missions technically, the missions are assigned to a map via a server file so it's super easy to try them on different maps or attach custom missions to a map.
Want to share custom pop file work somewhere, but unsure where I could pull together some resources and discuss.
What was the name of the file in which you could edit upgrade and item stats for your MvM server?
I only have one more mission to complete until I get my special strange! I'm so excited :D!

/tf/scripts/items/mvm_upgrades.txt? or something like that.
Also noticed the pyro bot model does have a head bodygroup, so head replacement items will look fine on him. Ghost head giant pyro!
This is bullshit, I didn't receive any reward after beating a Mann Up mission with a friend of mine and other guys. But they did... Why...
So, assuming no repeat-drops of bot killer weapons or types (gold/normal), it's $108 to complete the tour 18 times to get all of them?
yeah....
I can see it now...
Trader: "20 buds for the collection price is firm"
Clearly these weapons aren't getting added to my collection.....

The last two guys in the ''Mission Complete'' scoreboard don't receive any items but at the same time their tickets aren't used.

whaaaaaa? That's not what I've been seeing....
whaaaaaa? That's not what I've been seeing....
I've only played 2 games of mann mode and both times everyone got an item
I think I'm going to try to make a fully custom MvM mission. Seeing as making a new .pop file is so easy it shouldn't be too hard.
Questions: from what I've heard, the Mann Up drops work like so:
On completion of a mission, a regular drop which is normally a regular weapon, but can be a MvM hat, but is never a BK (botkiller) weapon.
On completion of final mission (meaning you have done the full tour), a guaranteed "cosmetic drop".
My questions are this: on that final drop, is it always a BK weapon, or just sometimes that and sometimes a robo hat? What would you guess the drop rates of each are? Because there are a lot of BK weps, and not nearly as many hats, so an even drop rate between them would be an over saturation of hats for repeat-players. Also, what is the drop difference between Gold and normal BK weapons? Are only the Gold BK weps strange?

Well some of those people got item even though first mission.
I am not talking crappy robot killer shit.

I think it's
On completion of a mission, a regular drop which is normally a regular weapon, but can be a MvM hat, but is never a BK (botkiller) weapon.
and
On completion of final mission (meaning you have done the full tour), a guaranteed bot weapon.
Two friends of mine got a MvM hat each after beating a mission nor completing a tour.

why don't styles work anymore?
I just hope I get a hat so I can get more tickets. :v: I want a bot-killer sniper rifle

Well that's a good piece of info to have.
I just wish the drop setup were reverse, with the weps being dropped after each mission and the hats only at the end. There's just a few hats, but 18 weps. They make the larger set rarer and the smaller set normal, ugg. That means anyone trying to get the weapons will end up with a lot of repeat hats, and take forever to get the weps.
Also, now that I think of it, if this tour gives out bot killer primaries, will the next give out secondaries? And the one after give melee (or whatever is left)? They did say they'd add more tours....
Wtf valve, they made the engine error worse in the last update :l
Would one of the many esteemed wiki editors who browse this thread change the robro article to show it can drop?
