The jarate snipers work just fine in MvM (they cover you in jarate so yeah it works). Uncomment them and mod one of the .pos files to play with them yourselves. :v:

They should have a Pybro Bot.
Have him wear something like the Aperture Hardhat or the Modest Pile, give him a Stock and a Homewrecker and set it to extinguish teammates and destroy Sappers.
Probably for Mann Up Mode only, seeing as how that'd be hard as shit.

question: if bots use an item that they don't have robot animations for, will they use normal human animations or just go to refpose or something? I just wanted a Space Marine bot that uses the mangler/bison because lasers, but I doubt there's a cranking/pistol animation for the soldierbot.

They all have animations, it's just that some of them don't have the jerky-robotic-animations.
Is the MvM Mann Up queue terribad for anyone else? Waiting 20 minutes to get into a server with 2 other people and then not getting any more players sucks. Servers are empty, but everyone still has to wait, I just don't get it.

I hope this means we're getting more MvM maps and missions in the near future
If I recall correctly they referred to mvm as a game, not a gamemode. Hopefully that implies they're going to consider it just as important as PvP from here on out.
I still say that the abilities on the Heatmaker, Soda Popper, etc should all be activated rather than automatic.

Well, Heatmaker I agree with. Soda Popper... eh, Scout could just fill their minicrits and deploy them to go mass-rape, would make the weapon even more annoying.

The first few days after I got my Soda Popper, I would fill it up to around 95% full, switch to my pistol and then switch back when I saw enemies thus giving me mini-crits. So you can kinda influence when you want to use it.

If matchmaking in its current form is any sign, I wouldn't set the bar too high. Nothing beats spending 20 minutes in line to fail to join a server because it's out of date/fail to join a game after 4 retries/join a game with 5 people who've never played Team Fortress before.

Looks like Elbagast's Demoman set has turned into 3 Demoman sets that will be released simultaneously.
So, I've been flying around tc_hydro for a while, and the more I think of it the more I believe it can be remade into a MvM map; large, open areas, clearly defined roads, and a big centerpiece (the satellite) that could be the place for the bomb dropoff. I'd have to learn much more about Hammer to even understand how to make it a MvM map, but I'll try to figure it out in my (relatively small) free time.
