Yup
You see, all the other robo hats have "prefab" "new_hat" which removes the proper groups. For some reason Engineer's bot hat is set as just "hat" prefab, which does not remove the default hat autimatically.

I had emailed them about it awhile ago, and I forget, but I might have mentioned also making footstep attributes easier to manage than new attributes every time.
It seems they may be transitioning footstep overrides into an easier to manage attribute, rather than new attributes for every footstep sound.
In this case, the LL is one schema line away from unique footstep sounds

I want Sentry Buster footsteps for the Gunboats.
Even though that'll cause extreme paranoia in MvM.

It's always annoyed me that the gunboats don't have a unique sound.
the same sound would also work on the Booties. If they didn't want use robo-sounds outside of MvM they can also pitch shift them up or down to make them a little different.
And then give the Bootlegger its own sounds and we can have lots of running sounds!

That is correct. My company is a start up that bought an old prototype ad building thing with lots of bugs still in it. So now I need to fix said bugs.

My speculation is that for halloween, valve makes the hats (and the hat slot) just another type of misc with a different equip region, and it breaks tf2 for an entire week. Scary.

We were told yesterday what was planned to be fixed. And while it was a sizable list, it's nowhere near the length of an arm unless you've got a baby-sized screen or T-rex arms.
Didn't we already get the notes for this match?
It's bug fixes and matchmaking improvements.
