[thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/disposable.jpg[/thumb] so I've found out that the disposable sentry is actually not a mini-sentry. It's slightly smaller and has a much larger ammo pool. So technically, it's a new building. Somebody should do more tests and add it in here http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Buildings
It also plays a deny sound when you whack it instead of using the "can't upgrade/not enough metal" sound. You can't also wrangle it.
It also plays a deny sound when you whack it instead of using the "can't upgrade/not enough metal" sound. You can't also wrangle it.
You also can't destroy it with the PDA (at least I can't, someone smarter probably found a way)
clean up the readability on the mini-mini sentry (as in make it not look like a smaller MS), and we could get ourselves a new sort of wrench with a spare sentry! MvM opened up a boatload of new potential attributes.
oh yeah and now all buildings sink a bit into the ground, which you can also see in the picture
I did also. The Medic's face bare looks strange to me. I took off my super-sexy Quadwrangler for it :/ We need a new misc slot. One you have to pay for. Similar to Backpack Expanders. I would buy it.
When MVM dropped, I was sort of hoping that the canteen slot would be bugged in some way that would allow people to equip an extra misc. Later, I also thought that servers would find a way to change the canteen slot to an extra misc as a premium mod to help encourage donations, but you don't see that either. Maybe it can't be done.
I thought that was from Slag Gaming? I remember they had the pyro/demo/heavy halves a while ago. Yeah, it is, it's not in GCFscape but it's in my mod list.
Yeah, it's a mod. Clover used them for a video a long time ago, and there's a video out there somewhere showcasing the animations. It's for the eyelander, Kukri, Skullcutter, and Fire Axe kills I believe.
oh yeah and now all buildings sink a bit into the ground, which you can also see in the picture
they really don't like buildings do they? Messing up the dispenser UVs, and now buildings sinking into the ground slightly, hasn't been a good month for the poor machines
Also, don't buy a cigar because they did it wrong.
Also, don't buy a cigar because they did it wrong.
Too be fair, I think soldier just has no idea how to smoke. I mean, fairly sure the pipe is just lodged in his teeth.
Also, don't buy a cigar because they did it wrong.
no flexing? Or is it just straight placed wrong?
it moves around his face but can't seem to be at the right spot anytime except maybe only when he calls for medic
anyway, now that MvM is more or less stable, I hope they start chipping away at the little bugs, like sinking buildings, broken dispenser UVs, Targe erasing all your upgrades with no refund, jumpers can glitchily add damage bonuses, the cigar bug posted a few minutes ago, the AWP not having a crit firing sound, the AWP's scope not reflecting anything ...I really don't care that robots are BLU

also tomorrow is TF2's birthday, so maybe we'll get some content. A TFC hat or weapon perhaps?
also tomorrow is TF2's birthday, so maybe we'll get some content. A TFC hat or weapon perhaps?
Probably a redistribution of the party hats and noisemakers, possibly with a yearly upgrade like the Gibus. I'm gonna hope for more stuff, but I know not to expect too much after they just strung Pyromania, Triad, and MvM in a really short span of time. The TF team is human too, best not to burn them out :v:
Hopefully not that Vlek cake. Edit: Although I shouldn't be one to talk, some of my past submission have not been exactly up to snuff either when it comes to the Workshop.
You know what I find kind of... not cool. Dota 2 community people can make items that are based on in-game items and have them accepted and stuff, but heaven forbid the TF2 community makes TFC items, they're deemed too close to Valve IP and "if we wanted it we would do it ourselves" and a million other excuses. We all want TFC hats, it's kind of dumb on one game they'll accept similar submissions, but the other it's taboo and not possible. [editline]22nd August 2012[/editline] I know for a fact there are very well made Heavy goggles, a Pyro mask, and Scout shades from TFC and I want all three. :/ [sp]I'm listed as a contributor on the pyro mask, heh[/sp] http://steamcommunity.com/id/lexar595/myworkshopfiles/?appid=440 <- this person

I just want Planeswalker goggles-esque goggles for all classes. Pyroland goggles are close but too bulky and... pyroland.

TF2 team doesn't care at all. Write some emails, man.
Wasn't DOTA 2's team the old TF2 team?
The DOTA 2 team knows what they're doing and is happy with their work. TF2 team doesn't care at all. Write some emails, man.
and yet at the same time the TF2 has not added other people's IP to their game, nor have they taken back items they added because a couple of kids moaned about it. I'd actually say the TF2 team is a bit better at adding items than the Dota 2 team. I think the checks for Dota 2 items being accepted is a lot less than TF2's, which seems like a long painful process of weeks of testing, or at least they make it seem.
You know what I want as a new misc for TF2's next birthday? One of these babies. We've even got the sounds for one.

What the TF2 team does right, they do wonderfully, but what they don't do right they may as well have not done it at all.
bwahaha, the spreadsheet guy got caught red handed fixing prices for his own gain http://www.reddit.com/r/tf2trade/comments/yk9ji/psa_i_believe_the_tf2_pricing_spreadsheet_at/ and http://tf2spreadsheet.blogspot.com/2012/08/integrity-of-spreadsheet.html
Year of The Dragon pack for pyro? I'd rather have 15 Minutes of Flame, imo.
going forward I wonder if this spreadsheet fiasco will give Valve a chance to find time to work on improving values of trades and the system as a whole. [editline]22nd August 2012[/editline] also
going forward I wonder if this spreadsheet fiasco will give Valve a chance to find time to work on improving values of trades and the system as a whole.
I doubt it. Whenever Valve makes a decision to change trading, they always do it in the "pro trader's" favor.
So what team is Eric Smith associated with currently, or is he just the run-of-the-mill updater guy?
Also, don't buy a cigar because they did it wrong.
Very, very wrong: [img_thumb]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/937000821264320959/4FAB76CE9E49CD6EF6DAF8830DCECB3162225D35/[/img_thumb] The wider the Soldier opens his mouth, the more stretched the cigar gets.
