Is it just me or do the new engie sound files sound almost nothing like what he usually sounds like?
It's been a few years.
Is it just me or do the new engie sound files sound almost nothing like what he usually sounds like?
nah he sounds alright, it's new heavy lines that sound weird
nah he sounds alright, it's new heavy lines that sound weird
Aren't Gary's voice lines put through a filter to make the Heavy lines? It seems that they've forgotten what filters they put things through, the new Pyro lines don't sound like the 2007 lines very much. But it's still identifiable as the Pyro.
nah he sounds alright, it's new heavy lines that sound weird
I think the one class's voice that seems the most unchanged is the Soldier. Props to Rick May.
Strange pip boy would make for a very enticing crate.
No thanks you. Hats and misc should NEVER see the light of the day as stranges.
No thanks you. Hats and misc should NEVER see the light of the day as stranges.
You were too late by a long shot. [sp]Spirit Of Giving[/sp]
I think the one class's voice that seems the most unchanged is the Soldier. Props to Rick May.
Medic too. Granted, Robin hasn't recorded too many new lines since 2007, but his performance in Meet the Medic and in MvM is still pretty accurate to the old recordings.
They are older, and this is set in future tf2, it's not out of place. As for crates: Cow Mangler 5000, Righteous Bison, Flying Guillotine, Red Tape Recorder and Splendid Screen plox.
Medic too.
Original Fire axe Phlog Pretty boys pocket pistol There, I just made a very easy crate that is very enticing for people to spend money opening
Gotta have the strange parts too. What's perplexed me is we've had the can destroy sappers tag in the game for a while now, is coding new parts taking that long or has it just fallen in priorities?
You were too late by a long shot. [sp]Spirit Of Giving[/sp]
Crap I miss that one :v: At least is free for all the players.
Destroyer robots Destroyed sappers Two great parts we need, plus a strange home wrecker to put the latter on
Destroyer robots Destroyed sappers Two great parts we need, plus a strange home wrecker to put the latter on
strange homewrecker is way overdue.
Destroyer robots Destroyed sappers Two great parts we need, plus a strange home wrecker to put the latter on
You know if that robots part comes out it will probably work on normal tfbots too.
You know if that robots part comes out it will probably work on normal tfbots too.
I don't think the robot achievements cont those bots, and stranges basically just use achievement counters
ooh, money!
You act like you've never been excited to find a wad of cash on the ground just asking to be picked up by you :v: [editline]25th August 2012[/editline]
I don't think the robot achievements cont those bots, and stranges basically just use achievement counters
The achievements likely test to see what mode is currently running before anything else. I know that a few of them check to see that the players are in an advanced mission.
I wonder if they're trying to hold off unleashing crate #50 for as long as possible, as if deciding doing a salvaged every ten crate series should be a new standard. If so I'd expect it by the end of September, but that doesn't explain why they haven't cycled to 47-49 yet!
Destroyer robots Destroyed sappers Two great parts we need, plus a strange home wrecker to put the latter on
Haha no that's a horrible idea, Strange Homewrecker needs to count sappers destroyed by default If they won't then I'll explode into a fiery rage and send angry e-mails all throughout the night
Medics just excited at the fact that he's suddenly learned a whole new set of English phrases to use. Clearly.
Haha no that's a horrible idea, Strange Homewrecker needs to count sappers destroyed by default If they won't then I'll explode into a fiery rage and send angry e-mails all throughout the night
Southern Hospitality doesn't even count Sentry kills. Don't get your hopes up.
You know, my only qualm for the TF2 MvM classfiles (besides the heavy distortion on, well, Heavy, which I noticed immediately) is the fact that they didn't update their respective localization files; as one who has replaced both the Heavy and the Medic's lines with their respective languages, it is a pretty jarring experience.
Haha no that's a horrible idea, Strange Homewrecker needs to count sappers destroyed by default If they won't then I'll explode into a fiery rage and send angry e-mails all throughout the night
There's no enemy kills strange part, so a home wrecker with old Sapper breaks would have no way of actually counting kills, which is the primary use of stranges. Even so, buildings destroyed is the primary intended use for it, so if it gets a secondary counter, it would most likely be that.
Crate Idea's? Okay! -Righteous Bison -Fying pan -Beggars Bazooka -Original - strange part robots destroyed - strange part Assist Kill - Team Spirit. -Balaclava's are forever -0.1 chance of gaben
Community Crate -Shovel -Kukri -Fire Axe -Escape Plan -Winger "Because fuck you for wanting a new crate."
I wouldn't mind those first 3.

How often do you see an unattended teleporter or dispenser that couldn't just as easily be destroyed with your flamethrower? Removing sapper's is the only reason I take it, and it's a damn good reason to my mind. [editline]26th August 2012[/editline]
Crate Idea's? how many times does a GRU get a kill, and yet the GRU counts kills, not distance ran
how many times does a GRU get a kill, and yet the GRU counts kills, not distance ran
Yeah, I know, that's pretty stupid too. [editline]26th August 2012[/editline] Pretty similar with Escape Plan.
how many times does a GRU get a kill, and yet the GRU counts kills, not distance ran
I dunno about you, but the first time the GRU came out, my thought was not 'this is awesome and will let me overcome one of Heavy's primary weaknesses with a negligible downside' (at the time), but instead 'ha ha, you can't run away as easy if I want to punch you (which is all the time).' Now that it actually does more damage today, I just might have to rekindle that old line of thinking later.
aww, crouching during humiliation appears to be broken.
aww, crouching during humiliation appears to be broken.
What do you mean? Not being able to crouch at all, or not moving while crouching? If it's the latter, it's always been like that.
