not playing the crouching animation. The camera changes like they're suppose to be crouching though
All these bugs almost make me glad to not have computer access for the foreseen future
Upside to this is botkiller items will get cheaper when I get back.
For some reason, it seems that you have a rare chance of receiving a weapon with a level based on your current tour as a reward item in Mann Up. For example, I have 2 Fists of Steels, one is Level 1 and the other Level 2. Other people have Level 2 Mantreads and Level 3 Steak Sandviches etc. Seems too odd to be intentional.
It's like, they're trying to edge random leveled items back in bit by bit.
Why does this seem like saomething we should exploit?
There's plenty of ideas for wrangler upgrades, I don't know why they didn't think of:
Increased shield defense while using wrangler 250
Increased fire rate while using wrangler 250
Shield extends to the engineer using the wrangler 350
Instantly take control of the turret as soon as you take out the wrangler, and no sentry downtime when you switch weapon 500
There needs to be a goddamn canteen that fills your sentry ammo up. Jesus christ that shit goes down fast.

I found that ammo on regular weapons goes down quickly too; strange how, with a bot made ENTIRELY OF METAL, you'd think they would drop SOME ammo.

As well as a canteen that fills up your uber.
a cheap canteen that fully heals you (up to max overheal) would be nice

I think it should be $50 (cheaper than UberCharge, pricier than Ammo Refill, same price as Buildings Upgrade (which works pretty much the same thing on buildings)).
melee dares on the human sniper play the robot ones
so whip your kukri out and battle cry the robots to death

Also does that when you do the huntsman taunt and calling for a medic whilst looking at the medic.
is it me, or is Soldier's VA the best at keeping his lines consistent over half a decade. He gets new lines all the time, and they always sound like Soldier, and never slightly off or out of character.
Scout kind of does to, but his VA doesn't record enough to really tell. Spy's VA just uses his regular voice with a cheesy french accent, he doesn't count.
It's been too long since the last issue. I blame what was previously the update drought.

but to be serious for a minute, why are these not used on Robot Soldier

Most likely they didn't program anything special for robots past using a different file path to the robotized lines. Hopefully Giant Soldiers would use at least one of these lines when they fall to the ground.
all robots have response rules independent of the real class' response rules already.

The Soldier has the funniest lines by an absolute mile.

Then I guess the sound guys thought it was perfect to robot those lines, but didn't talk to the programmers about them until it was too late.
I would love to see them implemented, in any way we can.

Chances are they just wrote a script and filtered every line in a batch, which is why every line is already done.
Also in the response rules Engy's lines are all commented out lol. But as soon as they ship the lines and uncomment the rules, Engy bots sounds would be ready to go. I imagine they did Engy's robot lines awhile ago and are just waiting to ship them with Engy bot.

Giants are also independant of regular robots, so you can have giants saying very specific lines their little versions don't use. Something like Scout giant using "You seeing this?" and "You guys suck!" as bomb pickup lines, rather than standard intel lines.
Actually might be worth removing lines talking about papers too. it's not intel, it's a bomb, so they should change the lines to match that (or rather, make them super generic like "Haha morons" or whatever)

Lines I laughed out loud at:
"Hasta gazpacho!"
"I run on blood. I take jobs from American vampires."
"I am programmed to give you a sensible haircut."

Man, who can pick favorites? The Sniper's the only character I don't love hearing.
Although until his video came out, the Medic's never been as funny as you knew he could have been. He was supposed to be a complete psychopath, but his lines mostly just came off as "incredibly german." The game really needs to give him new lines now that they have his craziness down.
another bug I noticed: The charge bar on the Huntsman and Sticky Launcher are off on the x axis by a number of pixels and now hang off the left side of the HUD element.

I have noticed that, sorta irks me. Sorta.
Oh lord, in terms of probability, to guarantee (Once again, only through probability) a gold botkiller drop, you'd have to spend $36, $6 for each full tour of duty, and at presumably a 15% drop rate.
That's over 300 dollars for a full set.
to guarantee (Once again, only through probability)
I hope you're not a gambler
Fuck no, which makes it even worse as that's your best possible odds.
no it isn't your best possible odds lol.
Probably doesn't work that way. You have a 15% chance of getting a botkiller every single time you beat a tour. Beating a tour previously doesn't increase your odds, the odds will always be 15%. You could play 2 tours and get two weapons or 10,000 tours and no golden weapon at all.
Your best possible odds are 15%, that's the highest they will ever be.
At least they'll be rare, considering how 8/9 of them look awful. (Who the fuck am I kidding, there are people with way too much money)
they won't be that rare. Their averaging about 500 a week right now, in another week they'll pass strange festives, and then beyond that who knows.
At least the festives aren't broken.
