I've not seen one good argument against the old equalizer. Yes, while not a straight upgrade or overpowered, it is much better than the shovel but that's the only thing you can really say about it, besides the ridiculous crits.

This might not be well understood or agreed with, but I recently felt like the Cloak and Dagger is a little overpowered. I mean, I haven't seen anyone using the Vanilla watch in ages, they either have a Dead Ringer or a Cnd. I mean, I know the stats are different and all, but it still sort of renders the default useless.
I use the default :v I do better with it because it forces me to do SOMETHING instead of just waiting for the perfect chance.

On-demand invisibility unlike the DR. No crippling mobility restrictions unlike the CnD. The CnD has it's uses, but it's far more specialized than the other watches.

CnD is [I]decent[/I] for things like camping a specific area, but the invis watch is generally more reliable. I think it's just more that a lot of spies seem to prefer the Dead Ringer for it's "Get out of Jail Free" effect.

It's not any less useful than the Invis Watch, it's just a different playstyle.
I know it's something that tends to cause arguments but the damage reduction on the dead ringer shouldn't last that long. Makes no sense that a stealth based class would be able to tank all of this damage.
What if the Dead Ringers damage resistance worked like body armor tends to in game (Think of something like CS). So after taking X amount of damage from a source it simply ceases to work, along with the standard period of time when the cloaks DR simply ends. Something like that may stop situations where spies who've been found out and taken loads of damage still prolong an encounter by refusing to drop cloak, even when they're in a situation where they've 'lost'.
other than fixing the cloak meter which is lolololol, the DR is pretty much fine. But seriously, like... since a week after release. Come on now, this is worse than the LnL and it never gets attention.
The DR has 6 seconds of damage resistance. I'd say that's enough, getting through chokepoints may take longer. And, a damage cap... I like to defuse sticky traps for my team, AND jump across the map on the process. Please don't.
I was gonna say that Gray mann wasn't even mentioned in MvM in-game, but then I realised I can't think of any times Blutarch/Blutard or Redtard/Redtarch have been mentioned in-game either. (Though there is that bit in Mann manor, and the ghosts of the mann family..., and also a picture maybe, so maybe my point is invalid.)
Half the time when I make those posts it's because I know that my ideas are flawed and it's just fun to see the next half-page being centered on disagreeing with me in different ways.
