Major Update Speculation: V8: Rise of the Machines! - Games

Guys, the items are purely cosmetic, no real weapons at stake here. While I personally don't like the idea (plus how it got its own day is ridiculous), its not the end of the world everyone is saying. Plus, they're giving us one for free right off the bat.

it says right there "You do not need a Tour of Duty Ticket to play Mann vs. Machine on non-Mann Co. servers"

I hope there is a secret link which shows new weapons

The payed mode is just to get cosmetics; otherwise it's pointless. It's also only $1. the sad thing is no new weapons, but we did get new weapons just recently.

So uhh, when does the actual update come out?

Relax guys, it's just for hats, technically speaking, it's cheaper than buying directly from the manco store. Though I really wish there are new weapons.

This is bullshit , i know its cosmetic but valve always said. Everyone has a fair chance at ALL ITEMS through drops. You better be able to find these through normal drops after a week or two otherwise you HAVE to pay to get items. plus unless there is like 5000000 mann co servers YOU WONT EVEN BE ABLE TO FUCKING USE IT SINCE EVERYONE WILL BE PLAYING IT.

You know what's worse? The ticket doesn't last forever. "1. Each time you complete an unfinished Mission on your ToDB in Mann Up Mode, you'll earn an item. This will consume the Tour of Duty Ticket you presented to enter Mann Up Mode."
