As much as I would like the Baleful Beacon, melee weapons are very boring to me. I'd rather have a new Flamethrower or Shotgun. Especially with the melee detection in Source.
Baleful Beacon with stats BELIEVE
I can totally see it getting in with On hit: marks target for death. +400% knockback.
+400% knockback with the Detonator omg
"So you wanted that unused Baleful Beacon, eh? Well here you go, complete with Neon Annihilator stats!" Oh the dreadfulness that would ensue. Edit: But they can't go wrong with releasing the Notebook for the Engineer if they make a promo with the release of Scribblenauts Unlimited. Right? RIGHT?
god damn it whenever i see a post with red text in it i get excited and think someone got banned

On the subject of Engie bots and sentries- I'd spent waay too many hours trying to trick them into being fun enemies. It's really not easy. Sentries are constantly nothing but a pain in the ass, especially minis. It sucks, but I don't think there's a fun way for attacking robots to use them. It's continually surprising how irritating it is to deal with a wave while a constantly healing aimbot prevents you from getting near a certain area. No matter how easy or hard it could be, having to stop the action and spend your time on a single problem feels like such a chore. Maybe Engineers would be fun without sentries, but I can definitely see why they left him out. (dispensers suck too, sadly, since the bots have medics and infinite ammo) (teleporters maybe?)
A teleporter with legs that brings through one (non-giant, non-medic) bot of the current wave through every 3-10 seconds. Catch him before he spawns all sortsa shit behind you!
Engineer bots work like tanks; they drive a big slow damage sponge towards the bomb target. Once it gets close, it opens up to reveal a big teleporter exit and a dispenser or some shit. It spawns in groups of robots there as well as the usual spawn areas until you destroy it. Oh and the engineer bot(s?) defends and repairs it once it's in place.
I'd rather have a new Pyro Shotgun, period. He hasn't gotten one unique shotgun at all.
I want a Pyro Shotgun that sets enemies on fire if it does above a certain amount of damage. I remember hearing that his Default one does, but I've never gotten it to work.
Like a deployable engy fort, and maybe it'd also deploy automatically of it reached a certain level of damage [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline] Automerge
I hope we'll get some new weapons soon.
Oh gee, I really hope the new update will have a new item that does a new thing, that would be so darn nifty! Oh gee! Then you could use that new item with another couple of other nifty new items to do other new things that you can't do without one part of that set of items! Oh gee, that sounds so fun! And then if you have trouble getting some of those nifty items in the game, you could buy it online but you just can't use it to make other items cause it's just so darn nifty, oh boy! tl;dr: I need sleep.
Baleful Beacon with stats BELIEVE
There was a reason the initial design for the neon anihilator was rejected.
There was a reason the initial design for the neon anihilator was rejected.
About what, 7 months ago that happened? So yes, there's reason for hope to remain.

What was the point you were trying to get across?
We should see something this week or the next now that Valve's resources are available again due to TI2 ending. (and Hexxeh appears to be stalking me and YourFriendJoe, what's up with that?)

TF2 ending? Truly you're joking? They just implemented enough new stuff to keep them rolling in money for another decade and to fund therapy to overcome their aversion to the number 3

That Dota 2 tourney, weren't it? Yeah, now that's done, and CS:GO is out, where will the resources flow this time? Here's hoping a fun new IP, or at least an adaptation of a university project. Hell i'd settle for a reimagining of the Left 4 Dead franchise nowadays.
I still think they should implement an official "TF2 Classic Mode", where cosmetics and unlockables are disabled. I know vanilla servers exist, but an official mode would be absolutely fantastic to make it more popular, and it would allow more people to get the original experience. With all the other things they've implemented, I don't think this is asking for too much.

First off people have vastly different views on what is "vanilla/classic". Some like you see it as no unlocks/hats, others see it has pre-engie or pre-mannco or pre-F2P or they pick a choose some weapons/hats at random. Then you need to keep in mind that at lot has changed for the main weapons so things might need to be rebalanced/rolled back. Also on the Valve end of things they would want to add a snazzy menu system, that would take time and energy to build. However, what it really comes down to is would it be worth it? Valve would most likely get no money from these players and are we sure that these people would even stay? With 60-80k+ people playing per day would the effort be worth it to add such a mode just to please the relative few? As much as I think it would be nice to have I doubt things will progress past these mods.
I've heard several people say that they have started vanilla servers only to be met with absolutely no-one using them. And no, it's not about the lack of advertising. If there actually were people who want a "vanilla mode", they would find these servers.

Someone previously said that they would change the strange Botkiller weapons from counting enemies killed to counting robots killed. I presume that they will simply add ''Robots Killed'' strange part to them.
Robin, We are not allowed to join our friend's TEAM Fortress 2 'Mann UP' game via 'Join Game' from the Steam UI. We are only allowed to get into matchmaking. Sometimes my internet may 'hiccup' or I would crash, and I would get booted from the server. It feels like my efforts are for nothing and my item I would have gotten is taken away from me. But most of all, it feels like I let my TEAM down. I understand many people have asked this and it needs to be re-implemented. A TEAM Player, Intellectual --An email sent to Mr. Walker
Baleful Beacon is a flamethrower. Bam!
The primary attack for it is rapidly swinging it around in front of you. And the jigglebones will never fully work.
