Stuck in the past are we?
Not really, but I would like to be able to relive old times. Also, fuck the people who'll inevitably mention consoles. Fuck them hard, in the ass, with a cheese grater. A lot of people loved TF2 when it was released due to the class dynamics, the beautiful artstyle, and the class recognition. The console versions lack cosmetics and new weapons, but also class balancing, exploit fixes, bug fixes, domination lines, level 3 teleporters and dispensers, invisiwatch recharging from ammo, and a whole lot of maps. There is nothing bad that could come from introducing support for a classic mode in TF2, at best it could bring back a lot of people who quit playing due to the updates.

So basically, a tf_classic 1/0 cvar is what most people want, like the highlander one.
Tim is us, Eric is tf2 this week.

0:17
Not sure if it counts as speculation, but anyone care to guess when the AWPer hand will be made craftable/tradable/dropable? Also, since it's a reskin, I don't suppose it will have a craft recipe?

As much as some people may want a classic TF2 mode I don't think that'll happen. It's the same idea with fans of certain bands wanting them to "go back to their roots" on newer albums if they've been around a while. No matter how much the old albums might be better, the band will continue to press on and try different things, and may even be dismissive of their older work. Creators and fans will never be on the same page; both will look at the work differently. I honestly think 2012 has been an amazing year for TF2, and would like to see Valve move forward rather than linger in the past.

I reckon it'll be treated like other promos, such as the three-rune, and be craftable with the tokens.

Basically, by your point, we just want an older CD of that band released, we don't want a new CD with them going back to their roots. Also, we can always buy that great CD or listen to it once again, we can't do that with TF2.

Maybe we'll get something for pax
Maybe we'll get something for pax
Hopefully something Scribblenauts related, so that we know there'll be a Scribblenauts Unlimited promo.
VALVE HAS CONFIRMED MAKING HARDWARE :SIREN: HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE

Or can you get 1-100+ craft numbers from token crafting too?

I thought PAX was over?
hmmm I don't really keep up with my game conferences as much as I used to.
I like how every single year the community makes dozens and dozens are really awesome community items for Halloween and Valve always seem to only accept like 5 of them. I hope this year they go all out and finally give us a community made Halloween update. So many great Halloween items on the workshop right now.
I don't think Valve will release 4 Pyro masks in one update, which seems to be what everyone (except me) wants
I don't think Valve will release 4 Pyro masks in one update, which seems to be what everyone (except me) wants
2/3 of the hats last year were Pyro heads.
2/3 of the hats last year were Pyro heads.
Valve should just publish everything in this collection and up to the date NOTLU 2 comes out. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92981519 Yes there's alot of pyro and 'pet' items but the engie and medic stuff is goddamn brilliant, espcially the shotgun shells.
is there even going to be a notlu site this year or workshop only huehue
is there even going to be a notlu site this year or workshop only huehue
I hope a site, as the last one was awesome.

I wonder if the people making Night of the Living Update 2 are gonna make a SFM video showing off some of the items.
