I am absolutely fine with this. It's like like buying items from the store, except a hell of a lot cheaper and you need to work a little harder to receive them. Also I bet the tickets will be tradable.

Despite the let down there, I'm still excited for the new gamemode. That's still be a lot of fun. I will admit I like that engie hat and goggles. But I'll just trade for those later. Also fellas, on the main page of MvM. There's still that opened crate with nothing in it. maybe we'll get another update later that reveals some new weapons? ...Or maybe it'll be a new line of pets and miscs. Fuck.
