Why does he have the diary? Why is it fireproof? Is there still a point to having it since it appears to be just a prop? What does the capacitor do? Why do we have these useless ARG items when there associated events have occurred? Why is the trade economy making them so expensive when they DO NOTHING? Why do I keep asking questions? Why hasn't Ned gotten a community gunslinger? Why do magnets?

the capacitor's use was already shown, twice. The first time it gave us the date for Pyro's blog post, and the MvM name hint, the second time it was directly used for the High Five riddles.

But personally I think the diary is a MacGuffin of sorts that valve can use in any upcoming event they need because it's so undefined and easily applicable to anything really. The capacitor didn't go because its purpose wasn't fulfilled. Am I to believe the capacitor still has a role to play?

I'm hoping valve will make the capacitor force your character model to use the robot model (unequippable by engineer, of course). Then fiddle with vintages and drops as necessary.

I wonder if merging them is considerable and do-able, since some people have one and some have the other. EDIT: Nevermind, it isn't. Craft numbers ruins it. not to mention tags/paints

It's silly, but think of it this way, the contributer is going to get 25% of those profits, so more money for them!
