Still, there's gotta be weapons, you can't have a major update with out weapons right? Right?

I'm with a few other guys posting here right now. It's not all doom and gloom guys. You can still play on valve MvM servers all you want. The only kicker is you don't win hats. But really. Is that a big deal?
I wanted weapons yes, but to be fair you can take your pre-existing favorite weapons and make them Overpowered monstrosities in MvM. That's fucking cool. Cheer up guys, besides we may get more new weapons later. Valve hasn't said anything about being done yet.

Looks like you need a ticket per different mission, so so far you will need 4 tickets to track your whole progress on official servers.
3 to complete every map once, and a 4rth to enter the servers again on one of the map (but it will not consume the ticket untill a 4rth map is created).
I guess they will be tradable, and if droppable will not stay expensive for long (couple of week).
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Too bad about no new weapons, but if I have fun with this mode, I'm buying a ticket.
That's how I treat F2P games. If I really like what they're doing, I'm fine with giving them a little tip! This looks like it deserves at least one good little tip.
My only complaint is not getting the tours. I'm fine going without hats, but the tours sound kinda fun.
Is it just me, or is there enough space at the top of the main MvM page for a Day 4 to be announced?

While I'm a bit disappointed with Valve about the Ticket thing, that should be free to get 'rare' items on the badge, this update is still GREAT and I still love it.

Well, the hats are tradable, at least. I'm just disappointed you can't do that Tour of Duty stuff without paying, or track your missions without paying. That's a kick in the taint. Yeah, you can still play the mode, but you won't be able to fully enjoy it without paying. And fuck, I payed $60 for this game, and I thought that I'd never have to pay a cent again to get the most out of an update. Call that entitled or whatever the fuck you want, but I thought that Valve stated nothing would be unavailable to Premium players unless they payed.
I'll still enjoy this update, but it still makes me wish that the game wasn't F2P sometimes.

Honestly though valve, I woulda paid 15 bucks for MvM access if you asked me.
Whatever, I don't really care about robot-themed cosmetics anyway. It would just sort of suck if someone bought a ticket, only to have their chance ruined because of bad teammates. That's gonna breed some ill will.

Something tells me it's going to be more difficult. I mean, if it's JUST a hat drop at the end, wouldn't they just put it in the store for overly expensive prices? Pretty sure it's an Expert Mode ticket.
Damnit, I was really hoping valve would be putting out *free* stable servers so I don't have to worry about day 1 clutter.
And another thing, it isn't 1 dollar, it's god damn five minimum, what else am I going to do with 4.1Spacebucks?
