why is controller support in TF2 so terrible >_> I'm hoping this might push them to spend time perfecting controller support, or at least spend as much time as they do on that Falcon controller thing
"It's the world's first first-person browser." How do you even qualify that? Is every other browser from an over-the-shoulder perspective?
TBH, It should have had Cave Johnson doing the ad. He would have explained it better than this dude.
Saw a Heavy portrait in on the wall, in the video.

Oh hey, I just noticed the Steam Community mascots.
Saw a Heavy portrait in on the wall, in the video.
And the space core flying around outside the windows.
the trailer kind of gave off a LBP vibe, Stephen Fry should of voiced over
Fry should be the voice guy of everything ever.
the trailer kind of gave off a LBP vibe, Stephen Fry should of voiced over
Yeah but all the kids these days love the douche metrosexual voice
Yeah but all the kids these days love the douche metrosexual voice
I love amazing homosexual voice
why is controller support in TF2 so terrible >_>
What's wrong with it? I've played hundreds of hours with an X360 controller and have had no problems.
What's wrong with it? I've played hundreds of hours with an X360 controller and have had no problems.
it's tricky to set up, and a few things don't work right with it (like the Pip-Boy)
now the question is is it a good time to sell it or should i just wait
So what would be the general reaction if corporate sponsors got into TF2 like a small promotion with a soft drinks company [ say. mountain dew ] that put a bag with the logo on it. in the game. redeemable if you purchased a 6 pack of cans or something. would it have touched too far. would the influx of new players be a good thing? Keeping in mind that there have been plenty of sponsored give aways related to games and contents [ normally with energy drinks companies Heck Deus ex offered people the chance to win a trip to Detroit [ pretty shitty area from what iv'e been told ] with rustlers [microwavable food-stuffs ]
now the question is is it a good time to sell it or should i just wait
I'd say sell it while it's hot.

might as well at this point. As long as they're handled like current promos, I don't see too much wrong with it

I mean, when I'm going to the cinema to watch a film there's like 15 min of adverts, that's fucking annoying Advertising in the form of items, I don't mind it (mostly because that's the kind of thing that'll be America only), but I still wouldn't do it because it would give ideas to other devs. I seriously hate adverts, I know products have to be known but sometimes it just goes way too far. I don't want advertising in my games, because I know they're going to push it someday.
What do you know :v:
Nothing good sir Now why don't you relax and sit back with a cool and refreshing mountain dew™ [img_thumb]http://www.whattheffacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/mountain-dew.jpg[/img_thumb]
So... is Big Picture mode out yet? Can I go and plug my laptop to a TV screen and pretend I'm playing on X360? Also what about booting up configs?

Like mountaint dew and others. We would be discriminated like Great Britain with Skyrim preorders. And no, I dont like this idea. TF2 should stay ad free (I mean non-games advertisements)
also welcome to Detroit! (Detroit is practically a post apocalyptic town now)
I can see it now, a bonk or crit-cola reskin of a Coke (or Mntn'Dew, Sprite, Pepsi, etc). Actually, that'd be pretty funny. A Big Mac Sandvich reskin? Also would be funny. Hershey's chocolate bar Dalokohs bar reskin? Perfect. If this whole promo thing were done right, it wouldn't be too bad.

Other games is one thing, but it'd feel like that cheapens it too much. I wouldn't want to play TF2 if someone was constantly smashing my head in with a bat imploring me to eat greasy, nauseating fast food.
be cool if a Mt Dew promo used the old logo from the 1960s (the logo seen on the Throwback cans)
