Wouldn't mind a Brainvich item for the Heavy this Halloween.
The blog also updated
UGC! Yay! My clan won 3rd place season 6 South American category and we were invited to take part in this new season, we're so excited! Also, more medals! :D Also, like eXtine said once on eXtravision, the community tabs needs more attention, an alert over the TF2 Steam Group would be nice enough.
I'd take part in that, but odds are noone will want me. I'm just a washed up used-to-play-comp-but-doesn't-now...person. Couldn't finish that.
Some people on HLDS are reporting the update hasn't even pushed out yet!
Some people on HLDS are reporting the update hasn't even pushed out yet!
I got it, 117mb. Nothing new to report so far.
I'm in Canada and I've gotten it.
And now it appears it's gone out. This ETF2L forums post may be why. This Big Picture Mode is nifty. And for some reason faster than my google chrome.
This Big Picture Mode looks interesting. I doubt my mom would by me a HDMI cable and a controller for our TV just for me to play games.
This Big Picture Mode looks interesting. I doubt my mom would by me a HDMI cable and a controller for our TV just for me to play games.
My mother got one for ten dollars at a bargain store for her TV.
My mother got one for ten dollars at a bargain store for her TV.
I don't think there are bargain stores in Serbia.... I'm not even sure my TV has a HDMI adaptor!
I don't think there are bargain stores in Serbia.... I'm not even sure my TV has a HDMI adaptor!
You're in Serbia? Hardcore.
You're in Serbia? Hardcore.
Um, how many times have I said this? I am a Serbian that was born in Czech, that comes from a Serbian family. A, so called, "Czech-born Serbian"? Well, let us go back to talking about Big Picture Mode. Who here thinks that Valve is now aiming to fix bugs for it and make the controls on controllers better and change-able?
dear valve give us robot heads to wear that makes us see "robot vision" which includes replacing every player with a robot model and their sounds with robot sounds. thanks and love, joey
If Star Wars 1313 comes to steam, do you guys things there is any chance of a promo(s)? I just think a Sniper SMG replacement skinned to look like a blaster (complete with pew pew lazer shots) would be freakin' awesome. As far as art style, maybe go with a "junkyard, battle damaged" type of thing, rather than an overly out of place type of thing. Unique stats would be nice as well, namely: +increased damage per shot -decreased projectile speed (has a cosmetic upside of letting you get the chance to actually see the red/blue shots as they fly through the air) -decreased number of shots per second -decreased clip size -decreased max ammo All of these factors would, of course, have to be adjusted to the right levels to be properly balanced. It would be quite interesting to have a ranged sniper secondary worth using, at least, one that's less spray-and-pray. Something like the Direct Hit to the SMG
I'd like to chime in on the advertising topic, although late. The market could be tapped by valve is pretty nice considering the amount of people that play everyday. The problem is the age range that tf2 is nestled in. Many products value their wholesome image and so does valve with its teen audience. I also dislike the advertising of current brands on tf2 simply because it will feel out of place. I know that there are advertising signs on every map out there but they build a certain timeline in our heads. Inserting modern brands will disrupt that air of belief. I will only support it if TF3 will be set in the present. Also Dr. Pepper is awesome.
The Valve store and official licencees produce some really cool stuff. The price is usually fair. Only issue is if you want to receive the product after you buy it. Shipping is what destroys the Valve store I feel. They could sell so much more if it wasn't for the fact 90% of the time the postage is more than the item.
On the condition that the blaster only works if someone else shoots first.
Well it would help to have more than one person in marketing. An ex valve employee said that valve only has one marketing guy. I should apply for a position I just need to fly to Seattle.
The only thing that'd be keeping me from working for Valve (if I wanted to) currently is the fact that the San Andreas and the JDF are way overdue. Even Chicago would be just fine rather than a Canadian office.
They need a Buffalo, Rochester or Albany office.
Valve is just fine where they are.... #WestCoastBestCoast
#EastCoastBeastCoast Anyway, They really need a New York Office so they have locations in major cities on each coast. They need an office on the Russian Coast if there's not one already. Put antlion statues all over the parking lot... heheheh.
I would like nothing more than to work for valve. It's kinda too late for me to study any computer design or things like that, though.
It is never too late! Reach for the hatstands.
Valve have more than 1 office?
Valve have more than 1 office?
They used to have a Valve South (in Texas), formerly Turtle Rock, but they closed that (or rather, moved everyone to Washington) after it got hard to have their work culture between two areas.
BLACK MESA IS COMING TO STEAM it's one of the first ten to be greenlit!
The first 10 titles coming to Steam from Greenlight are: · Black Mesa · Cry of Fear · Dream · Heroes & Generals · Kenshi · McPixel · No More Room in Hell · Project Zomboid · Routine · Towns

BLACK MESA IS COMING TO STEAM it's one of the first ten to be greenlit!
I'll have to wait for Organ Trail in the future. Some of these games will be a blast to play.
