at least they acknowledged it is a bug btw, when is manniversary?
Mannconomy was 9/30/10, 1st Manniversary was 10/13/11
If there is to be an update today, it will likely be in the next hour or so.
On a friday night?
On a friday night?
wouldnt be the first time
So nothing tonight eh? Oh well.
Valve Time strikes again.
Those blueprints were from Radigan Conagher, Engineer jus pulled them out with the other blueprints. I'd say it much more likely he helped Gray build the bots.
Radigan might've built the blueprints, but Dell is still building them. That has to mean something.
Radigan might've built the blueprints, but Dell is still building them. That has to mean something.
By this logic, we're also getting the Gun Hat and Wheeled Minigun (Valve Made).
How late am I? I was in source sdk and engies got a new taunt under taunt10. Or maybe it's not new, but I've never seen it.
How late am I? I was in source sdk and engies got a new taunt under taunt10. Or maybe it's not new, but I've never seen it.
Yea my sdk did update.
The bot killer rifle has a hole in it's head.
How late am I? I was in source sdk and engies got a new taunt under taunt10. Or maybe it's not new, but I've never seen it.
nah its the fly vomiting taunt
it's a nice touch, but I would love the corresponding class' head instead of the heavy robot
Everyone would, the current bot killers are incredibly lazy.
Super Plot Twist! Gray Mann is actually in just as crappy shape as his brothers and The Gray Mann we saw in the comic was Red or Blu Engineer using stolen spy equipment to disguise them selves. CONSPIRACY PAGEKING!
Does anyone else think that how the crit resistance works isn't intended? Say you have 75% crit resistance (possible in Mann vs. Machine), and you get hit by a fire axe. If it's a crit, you take 75% of normal damage. 3 x 0.25 = 0.75 If it's a mini-crit, you take 33.75% of normal damage. 1.35 x 0.25 = 0.3375 It just seems so weird that a normally-deadly attack becomes weaker than a normal attack, that I don't even think that was an intention. They probably intended this, instead: (2 or 1.35 x (Crit Resistance)) + 1 (2 x 0.25) + 1 = 150% damage taken from Crits (0.35 x 0.25) + 1 = 108.75% damage taken from Mini-Crits Hell, I don't even think it was even intended for mini-crits, at all (but I guess it's because it is technically a form of a crit). But oh well, Valve will probably stick with the current formula, forever. Edit: With how it is, now, it makes the Crit-a-Cola, Buffalo Steak Sandvich, and Gloves of Running Urgently EXTREMELY damn useful in Mann vs. Machine.
Hell, I don't even think it was even intended for mini-crits, at all (but I guess it's because it is technically a form of a crit).
Given that the attribute was first introduced as the Hibernating Bear set bonus, I think it was more intended for minicrit resistance than full-crit resistance.
Given that the attribute was first introduced as the Hibernating Bear set bonus, I think it was more intended for minicrit resistance than full-crit resistance.
Amusingly, it still fails. (Note: This is technicality health that we're about to go into.) 300 / 1.35 ≈ 222 Health 1.35 x 0.95 = 1.2825 280 / 1.2825 ≈ 218 Health So it still manages to be a failure by 4 health. The only way this crit resistance could ever be useful is if a Heavy mainly used the Buffalo Steak Sandvich and Warrior's Spirit, but even then... Edit: Now thinking about it... Fists of Steel Heavies with Buffalo Steak Sandviches in Mann vs. Machine can completely dominate non-melee robots. 300 / 0.3375 ≈ 888.88 ~888.88 / 0.6 ≈ 1481.48 Health HORY SHET Edit 2: Pair up with a Medic that has maxed Overheal upgrades... Overheal Multipler Formula: (Value x 0.5) + 1 (2 x 0.5) + 1 = 200% of Normal Health on Overheal (Yes, that's the actual formula.) ~1481.48 x 2 ≈ 2962.96 Health

We hit Reward Tier 2 for X-COM, by the way. They haven't started dropping yet.
We hit Reward Tier 2 for X-COM, by the way. They haven't started dropping yet.
Fuck. I was hoping it would stop at 99%.
We hit Reward Tier 2 for X-COM, by the way. They haven't started dropping yet.
woo, now I can get myself an area 451

Or a combination thereof resulting in effectively having about 3K hp if all things were effecting normally? Basically, what does all this mean gameplay-wise?

Basically, what does all this mean gameplay-wise?
By technical health, I mean what your health would basically be like, but doesn't actually show it as that. With the crit resistance at 75%, and when you take mini-crit damage, you take 66.25% less damage. When paired up with the Fists of Steel (and by using the Buffalo Steak Sandvich), you take 79.75% less damage from ranged sources, and 32.5% less damage from melee sources.
The HHH is about fucking things up with his axe just because they are in the same map as him. He roams around freely until he finds someone whose life he wants to end and then he goes to do just that. MvM has a distinct objective where the enemies are bringing a bomb from point A to point B by walking along a set path. The boss type and game mode don't seem very compatible at all.
You're right, although it's still funny as hell. I've spawned him in a 100 demoman wave. Absolute fucking insanity. The bomb is still an issue, surprisingly! Even so, it's kinda crappy for the gamemode. He pretty much does your job for you, while you're reduced to acting like a rabbit dropped into a battlefield. Run, hide, run, etc. Monoculus is just lame. Summoning him is a lot like calling in an airstrike. Even worse, it's not very effective, so you end up just kinda wishing he was out of the way. Calling both monsters leads to monoculus basically being useless and just hanging back to observe with his big-ass eye. I guess he and HHH are on the same team, or don't see each other, or something.
Apparently the eureka effect uses the generic skull killicon. Anyone know when this happened?
update monday?
Apparently the eureka effect uses the generic skull killicon. Anyone know when this happened?
Happen to have a video of this happening?
No, but it isn't especially difficult to replicate for yourself (and looks exactly the way it sounds).
Got 1112e to test that as I don't have a EE or a computer that is able to play TF2 at the moment. He says it is indeed broken. I'll poke Valve about it.
