Manniversary Dr G items omg, that'd be awesome. So far "mysterious promos" have been for irl goods with promo codes (Balloonicorn, Archimedes), so we'll have to see.

It's clear as day is isn't busy probably ever, he said he loves doing it, so what the fuck?!

scout mains can't complain I main Pyro I've yet to get a new line Anyway, I don't understand. In that one video he said he loves doing it.... does Valve just never ask him? Does he just not care? his channel only has 10K I'm not sure it's really taking off

The mystery promo can be equipped by every class by the looks of things so i doubt it will be anything of interest really. Maybe a cosmetic, probably a hat.

Valve probably just doesn't ask him, there's no other reason why not. I doubt he chooses not to out of spite or something.

The bone in this case is seeing every other class (albeit only barely with medic) having new voice lines. Pyro's got the overly high-pitched high-five giggle and schadenfreude laugh, the far too deep positive line that goes for half a second, and the deepened schadenfreude laugh for his rainblower taunt. That's about it.

Also all of the above is false as that's their placeholder mysterious promo template that they've used 3 times so far before and it's never been an all-class flare gun.

Was kind of a waste having him and Spy's actor there and neither got new lines for MvM, despite even Medic getting them.

Yep, Archimedes was a all class mysterious promo also, and that's not all class

Maybe it was a deliberate decision or something? We still only have Payload-specific lines for Heavy, Scout, and Sniper. Not sure what that means, maybe just that "some classes" is enough.

I used to hold hopes that they kept the voice lines from initial release to lower stress on the download servers. Now I realized that it's just because most of the original TF team is gone.

I think it's reasonable to assume that he recorded the lines last year when he was reasonably within contact of the TF team before he continued with his busy schedule.
