Talking about Valve franchises, everyone forgot Alien Swarm :(

Soooo guys..... my game doesn't show hats, not even on the class loadout preview, plus it lost all the sounds except for the announcer lines... Did a steam file validation and it gets stuck at 100% wat do? EDIT: it's all sorted now...weird

so what does people think about a "versus" mode for MvM? A player team controlling robots vs a standard 6 player team. I think it would be fantastic with a few tweaks.

i hope they release halloween at a fitting time instead of releasing it like a week before then having it go to thanksgiving

It hardly matters to me whether or not I'm dodging stuff or not. When I'm Medic, explosions have 400% larger radius', bullets are attracted by the magnetism that is being a Medic, and fire burns 20x longer.
I dunno about you guys, but my biggest worry as Medic is running out of ammo. Blutsauger plus good aim plus opportunistic knowledge granted by the Solemn Vow does that to you.
My biggest worry when playing Medic is why I'm on a team so bad I actually had to switch to my worst class.
Anybody else gotten this glitch with stranges where randomnly it will go up 2 entire ranks at the same time? What's up with that? I think it happened around 1000 kills.

I've seen many a people freak out about that on various servers. Always a chuckle.

It's the drains on the most important mechanic in the entire game that was the err of every Medic player whenever there was a Pomson Engineer in the vicinity. The hitboxes being the size of a truck don't help at all. I'm a Medic main, things kill me. It's something that's to be expected. Having my Medigun lose 10% of the Ubercharge that I had built up is not only unexpected, but it happens to slow the game's pacing by staggering pushes by an extra number of seconds (it stacks up, especially if it causes a failed Uber pop that directly leads to the death of the Medic or his combat class teammates.) The Pomson's Uberdrain has the same amount of threat to a Medic as a Sniper does. A competent Engineer would be able to force the Medic to pop before he even rounded the corner if he wanted to actually use his ubercharge, which gives even less time for the Sentry to get taken out due to travel time (this isn't accounting for the Engineer's teammates who might want to help out).

Fixed Pomson is good.
