I made an account to say why I think the ticket system isn't as bad as some may make it out to be.

A ticket costs $1 and if you manage to finish a mission of MvM then you get a [U] guaranteed[/U] cosmetic/hat. This is just another way to definitely get a cosmetic with money other than promos, buying them off another user or buying them off the store, plus buying off the store it is considered "dirty." While the Mann Up FAQ does not specifically say that the items won are craftable, that remains to be seen until the update comes out.

Buying a key from the store costs $2.50, and opening a crate doesn't even guarantee a cosmetic, whereas tickets/surplus vouchers can. I see this as another option for those who are wanting cosmetics and are willing to work and have fun doing so at a lower price.

Just my thoughts, and I'm happy to join the forums. I was a lurker for a while :smile:

Missions are free. Mann Up mode is several missions. The canteen will cost you nothing.

My friend's brother works at PC Gamer, and he insists that his brother showed him some images of the weapons that will come along with this update. He also said that the only real disappointment to be had in this regard is that there aren't very many weapons, assuming he'd seen them all. I have no idea if this is true, but I can confirm that his brother is indeed a PC Gamer journalist. There's still hope for weapons, I mean, I don't even think day three is meant to be out so soon, considering the lack of a blog update. Come on, the final day is always the biggest day, there has to be more to it than hats and official servers.
