[b]Missions are pre-set robot attack waves.[/b] We were told that missions could be customizable and was a task even easier than making a map in Hammer. [B]A Tour of Duty is a string of missions that go together. Potentially spanning across multiple maps[/B] Knowing that we can customize missions, we can recreate the official Tours of Duty without actually paying for it. The only difference is that the participants do not get an item drop at the end of it. Such a huge problem that cosmetics will cause. This is the very reason why they didn't want to make maps pay-to-play. Because the game supports custom content, and if that were to happen, people would just run the custom versions of those maps and people would play on those. Thus separating people between officially supported maps and customized maps that are identical. The Vouchers make far more sense than the Tours. Pay for an item makes sense. Pay for something that you can literally recreate on your own thanks to the customization tools does not make much sense. If anything, this will just separate players between Mann Up mode servers, custom mission servers that have no difference from Mann Up mode, and everyone else who is playing the original RED v BLU TF2. I'm not upset by the decision, just confused as to why they fell into a pitfall that they intentionally avoided with the maps they've added over the years.

I might sound like a nagging fuck, but how about everyone gets a action version of the ticket on the day of the update? The action version never runs out and people that come after the 15th have to pay for their tickets.

I still think there's something more to this update that hasn't been released yet. Day 4, maybe? I mean, the update hasn't launched...
