If valve had never even mentioned the idea of rewards, nobody would be upset with getting no rewards for completing MvM. But, just because there is an option to pay for rewards, people bitch about no rewards for non-payers. ok

The worst part about these big updates isnt the controversy, its the new people on SPUF asking where the update is on the day it should be out.
I dont care if youre F2P from the Uber update, if you know about the very scary halloween update, australian christmas 2011, and pyromania, it will NEVER come out right away.

It's a completely valid way for Valve to make a decent profit; you pay a dollar for a 100% chance to get a new random cosmetic item at the end of a successful round of MvM on Mann Mode (only on valve servers), or you can pay 2 bucks for a Voucher and get a random item for everyone on your team at the end of the round.
And for some reason, people are bitching.

It's not about the weapons or the gamemode. That's not why people are ticked off. They're mad because Valve keeps trying to replace the old tipping points in an update that made everyone say "Oh my god this update was already amazing but now it's the best one yet" with a sign that says "We know you expected something amazing here, but rather than that, how about you give us some money for hats."
I don't mind the ticket system. I won't use it, but Valve has given me a lot, and so long as they don't ruin the game by charging for features, I'm happy to see them making a little bit of money. What I can't stand at all is how they keep pushing the moneygrabs as an AMAZING FEATURE that deserves it's own day set aside in an update. This didn't deserve a day apart from the rest of the stuff, because quite frankly more than half of the population of the game doesn't care about it. It would have been fine to mention it in day 2 with all of the upgrades, and use day 3 as a MOVE OUT SOLDIERS kind of day.

Rating spam is only bannable if you use scripts though.
