I finally got into a game, and we got stuck on the 5th wave. We figured we were stuck because spies kept spawning from time to time, and our sentry was freaking the fuck out by shooting in the air and sometimes killing people with rockets. Through trial and error, I found out if you max the knife, the sapper, and buy Über canteens then for giant robots you can just spam backstab, as soon as they turn around Über yourself, sap them, and cloak away only to repeat it again. Usually can kill them in 2 go's.

His cries for help on mic made it hilarious.

Which is most likely what happened to you.
