My server is now up, no password: Connect 213.81.69.220 In console
I'd also love to finally find a game! Maybe I can host one, I've never actually tried. e: nah.
Kinda exactly my thoughts precisely.

When I played that map, and it was time for upgrades, I said over the mic "Let's all go to the gift shop!" :v:
Am I the only one who thinks that robots would be much better at night? (like the trailer shows) Imagine Carrier at the top of the hill, underneath the dark forest and small facility. You are facing the forest...its dark and you can see robots eyes shining at your face. Then the ROBOTS! music starts and you have to defeat the corn field in front of the facility. Thats how I imagine atmosphere of 70s scifi horrors. God, I want this for Halloween, but its possible that we will get some zombie stuff
So does anyone actually know why the robots are Blu?
Because the robots are just BLU bots from offline practice with a different model.
Hosting a MVM server for FP people. It is a listen server hosted in the UK, tends to not be too laggy :) Type: connect 81.159.110.45; password fp_only into the console to get in! Full already!

Also, I don't think you guys should count too much on the idea of the classes being turned into zombies for halloween. It would require new character models for every class and new voice lines, which is a project I don't think Valve is willing to take on so soon after having gone through a lot of work to do exactly that so recently.

Which are just the standard MvM bots, but painted to resemble zombies and classic movie monsters. Also I'd like to see a map that either incorporated traps in some way, or just generally more pitfalls and such.
Glados that is a very nice idea, but we here at valve have something better. Introducing Monster Up mode! Its exactly the same as Mann up mode, but you need to buy monster tickets to play. It costs $1.99, and if you play the map 20 times (you need 20 tickets), you have a chance to get the new platinum robot head weapons. No new maps no random critical hits Updated localisation files.
So to confirm, you just get a random drop when you complete a Mann Up mission, right?
Alright, I'm home now, maybe MvM will work
So to confirm, you just get a random drop when you complete a Mann Up mission, right?
Random drop of any item. Not just new mann vs machine items.

Or even better, a rainy map with a heavy thunderstorm going on for extra ambience
Random drop of any item. Not just new mann vs machine items.
I thought you were guarenteed a rare MvM exclusive drop? Otherwise there'd be no point
I thought you were guarenteed a rare MvM exclusive drop? Otherwise there'd be no point
You get the MvM drop by completing all the missions. Then you have to buy more tickets and complete every mission again to get another drop.
I thought you were guarenteed a rare MvM exclusive drop? Otherwise there'd be no point
It costs 6 dollars (6 tickets) and you have to complete all the missions for a garaunteed MvM drop.
So, fixed price for those things, 3 keys?
I finally got to play! So much fun, holy crap Being an engineer has never been so satisfying. He's always been my favorite class, but in this mode, it's even better.
It costs 6 dollars (6 tickets) and you have to complete all the missions for a garaunteed MvM drop.
where are you getting this from? The FAQ says you get a rare drop for playing in Mann Up mode.
So, fixed price for those things, 3 keys?
What? The tickets?
Not at all it seems. Just a gift now that the Perpetual Testing Initiative has Co-op.
It DOES?
where are you getting this from? The FAQ says you get a rare drop for playing in Mann Up mode.
According to this this thread, you will only get the MvM rare drop only after a certain amount of Mann Up matches. I can't confirm it, though. Nerfed may be lying, who knows.
I thought you need to buy 6 tickets to level up your badge one level
According to this this thread, you will only get the MvM rare drop only after a certain amount of Mann Up matches.
