so uh, no light can be shed on the mini-sentry conundrum so far. anyone know any info?

My point is that you can still play on maps that take place on 1968, with any item that may or may not be released in past or future updates.
So there's no item that represents time progression, that or every single merc is a time-traveller bastard.

Soldier, pissing off a wizard in that medieval update :V
How do we not know hes purposely been pissing said wizard off to get weapons from other times.
Oh. My. God. This is the best thing to happen to TF2 in ages. Gave up trying to get into a server yesterday. Jumped into random games through the server browser today, just played for 6 hrs straight. When the hell did it become 3:00 AM?!
The unpredictability of this mode is comparable to L4D. The upgrades are freaking amazing and by the time you're at Wave 7, you've got a beastly weapon in your hands. I was using the Scottish Resistance, max reload speed, max damage, 20% faster firing speed. The thing is so insane, especially with the whole selective detonation. And if you take 3 crit canteen packs with you, you're nearly unstoppable. Took down giants with ease.

But then how do you explain that the Sniper got an AWP ?
You could say he's been asking Mersamus, but then how do you explain the Soldier didn't stop him (they might be on opposing teams).
You could say the Soldier didn't bother because they're on the same team, but then how do you explain that only some mercs asked Mersamus ?
You could say that all the mercs asked Mersamus, but then how do you explain that he did not die from suffocation or something ?

sniper invented the AWP but because he [sp]dies in the mann vs machine plotline[/sp] it never gets released so only the prototype is left and only he knows how to use it

How do you perform that sentry glitch?
Perhaps I suck at MVM but I feel like it needs a lot of tweaks in order for it to be really amazing. Like maybe adjusting bot count based on number of players, giving more cash for kills, maybe even upping the player count to 8-10 players. Probably would make it more fun, for me at least.
I say that because I tried Mannworks with four other people, and couldn't get past Wave 5. Eventually we restarted and couldn't get past Wave 4. Tried one last time, we failed on Wave 2, and we only had four people at that point. It just feels unfair.
