I have OoT, it's great. But I think there aren't any Gold editions left around here. But Skyward Sword, I think the orchestra edition is the only one being sold here.
Although I saw the limited edition in Tenerife, with the game and the special 3DS with golden decorations. My father bought me a golden triforce decal for getting good grades after selectivity. Best gift ever.

I don't own a credit card so can I buy a $20 Steam card from Gamestop or somewhere and use that to buy items and become premium? Also say I wanted to trade Dota2 for a key, do I need to be premium for that, if not would unboxing my crate automatically make me a premium?

To be premium you have to buy something from the Mann Co. Store. Being free to play means you can't trade items which comes from your inventory (Except tools like paints).
So yeah, buying a Steam card is the only solution for you then.
