PC just crashed for the third time today.
I wanted to reinstall everything (and I mean EVERYTHING), but for that I need a place to store all my pictures, my music, my videos and other documents on. My fatehr said I could have his old laptop (since he's got a new one). But nope, he's had his new laptop for 3 weeks now and didn't get off his arse to remove his old files from his laptop.

So ages ago i used to skin for tf2, i was pretty average with it as i was still learning photoshop's basics at the time. I cranked out this Ambassador skin like 3 years ago themed to look like 47's Silver Ballers, and i got curious today and went back to my fpsbanana account which was unused for like 3 years to see if my old skin gained popularity.
Downloads shot up.
Also it made me realize that the skin was absolutely horrid, i haven't skinned in ages and looking at it made me want to redo it completely.
Still, it was neat to see.

Well you made a Silver Baller skin so kudos for that at least.
So multi-account idling was just made extremely easy to detect on Valve's end (by requiring Steam Guard hardware encryption).
Wonder what will happen next...

It's still taking up server space I'm sure they'd rather use for actual game-playing user. There are people with literally hundreds of alts for this purpose. That's an entire server rack.
Besides. Depending on how long these accounts are running, you'll profit significantly more from each than Valve ever gets.

Accounts still take up space on their end. That's what I was trying to say.
The more accounts are created, the more servers they need, and the higher their providers' hosting fees get. It's not unreasonable they want to stabilize this.
