Then there was Killing Floor, but I was actually gifted that game.

IIRC, there's games with no limit, 6, 12, 16 and 18 (and even games which are 18+ can be cut in germany, Left 4 Dead for instance).

There's one show I dare calling better in german: Scrubs. I really prefer the german VA's.
I'll never understand the logic behind laws in certain areas.
In Germany, violent video games can get banned, but the drinking age is 14.
In America, we let 5-year-olds play the most violent of games, but we crack down on underage drinking as if it were god damned murder.
It makes no sense.
