Someone paste the code for binding "No" to N.
Bind N "voicemenu X Y" X = Category Y = Position Use the menus on Z,X and C for reference on category and position. Edit: ninja'd
Holy eff More people readin this than the emporium!
If you bind a command to W will you constantly say it while walking?
You gotta push the key, and you have to add "+" so it won't overwrite the actual bind.
If you bind a command to W will you constantly say it while walking?
No, that would just override the normal walking key. You'd have to make a fancy config to do that. *Damn ninja :\
If you bind a command to W will you constantly say it while walking?
Doesn't it unbind the walk forward command and replace it with the voice command? Double ninja'd :saddowns:
You probably just installed a tf_english mod that was outdated.
Alright vid is up keychain
vander97 you just installed Shugo's text mod. It adds support for these binds in this menu. You just fucked up when you installed it. False alarm everyone. :|
Tf_jpg_screenshot my dreams have come true
Tf_jpg_screenshot my dreams have come true
jpeg_quality 100 bind "f5" "jpeg" Herpaderp.
It doesnt save the binds
put it in autoexec
Oh, is this it? Voice command keybinds? I've been doing this for months. In fact, I'll probably still keep doing it the old way. I constantly switch having a random voice command assigned to F. Right now it's battle cry, sometimes it's good job, sometimes jeers. When I play engineer, I either set it to negative or move up. Those are the best commands to spam as engineer.
I guarentee you Pilk I do not have a custom tf_english in my resource file. Alarm reactivated [editline]08:27PM[/editline] Bull frikin horse shit
This is not official, I have seen the same setup in the options with custom configs before.
vander97 you just installed Shugo's text mod. It adds support for these binds in this menu. You just fucked up when you installed it. False alarm everyone. :|
This. You had my beta text mod installed, and while the new TF2 community update deleted tf_english, which has the text for these options, it didn't delete kb_act, which has the options themselves. Delete kb_act in tf/scripts to return the menu to normal. I'll be putting together and releasing beta 3 in the Emporium soon, just hold on.
It doesnt save the binds
It does if you put it in your autoexec. Also I never wrote it down in my autoexec, just in the console, and it actually works, I don't have to re-type It everytime I launch TF2.
Bind f Say: Need a Dispenser here Join game ??? PROFIT
Drako;22139176']Bind f Say: Need a Dispenser here Join game ??? PROFIT
Nope.
Never noticed that. I did a simple UI mod which did exactly that, a very long time ago, and I still have it, probably wouldn't have noticed the difference anyway.
It isnt there for me :C
No, that would just override the normal walking key. You'd have to make a fancy config to do that. *Damn ninja :\
bind w "+forward ; voicemenu <NUMBER> <NUMBER>
Also I never wrote it down in my autoexec, just in the console, and it actually works, I don't have to re-type It everytime I launch TF2.
Steam Cloud?
Does anyone know why it isnt there for me?
The voicemenu <number> <number> never worked for me... I want to be able to yell "NIET!" Without pressing 8 :saddowns:
This still applies, right?
Console binds are saved if you open settings and click OK or apply.
