They probably won't change anything on the page while there isn't someone around to check that the script doesn't mess up and release something too early. Also, as we noticed yesterday we had to wait 5-10 minutes after the clock turned 24 for anything to happen, which makes me believe that it's probably activated manually and not by a machine set to activate on certain times on the counter.
