Still havent gotten my robot chicken hat :(

I've gotten TWO Robot Chicken Hats! ...but I can't find a motherfucker who wants to trade his Outdoorsman

Dunno why I haven't gotten an email yet. I've been signed up for a year and gotten regular newsletters since. I checked my account settings and I'm still signed up for the same newsletters that I applied for last summer. I'll hold off until the weekend before I contact adult swim about this, I'm hoping it's just a hiccup in their automated system.

I, Personally, Cant see TF2 ever having a final update.

Most would either die, got to jail or be put into an insane asylum. They've been killing for 7+ years now, they're all insane in their own little way. Imagine: heavy's on a hair trigger, if his sanvich is ever touched blood will be shed (also he loves his gun too much). The spy made a kid stab someone with an icicle. Engineer threatened to break his employer in half because he grabbed his collar. The soldier murders anyone near his door. Scout would go to a life of crime not because he's broke but because he likes to kill. The comics in the tf2verse focus on rare parts where the mercs are not killing everything in sight.

They probably had to send out a lot of emails.

I really think things like Focus and Hype need to be changed into either activated skills or done away with. Randomly forcing someone into a situation just because they are doing their class role and trying to force them to deviate isn't a good design for a weapon.

Wow, I just had the coolest idea for Halloween this year: Since we now have pyrovision, that means there's a system in place to add an entire world layered on top of another via texture and decal changes. This could potentially mean we could be getting a Full-Moon only item that mods TF2 in a similar manner to look like Halloween. Perhaps this attribute could be applied to all the Halloween exclusive items. That could be so damn cool. I almost think we should email the idea to Valve, or perhaps try taking apart the Pyrovision and modding it ourselves. Good idea?

If i switch my Adult Swim account email now, will i get the code faster? Because everyone else seems to be getting it right away.

Just sign up and check your email and the website several times to make sure that your confirmation went through properly. You won't get your hat as soon as those who signed up early, but at least if you sign up before (I think it's the 11th of july or something) then you will still get the hat. Just doublecheck that the registration thing is fully complete.

why would Valve set the volume of the rocket jumper woooosh to be at 75%? The sound is barely audible... (I can't even hear it) Also the warner bros style cliff fall sounds are straight unused. There's nothing in game_sounds_player for them
