You can disable pyroland textures on all map, which would give you the same effect. Just save
"VisionFilterShadersMapWhitelist" { }
as mtp.cfg in tf/cfg
I would only want it for snapshots though.
Regardless. You have no experience with making a good map. ;)
fuck you kid I'll beat you up at the reception tonight
they need to make it a sound device with parrot lines on taunt. "Gonna glue you, glue you back together, *whistle*" "Grass man, squawk ass man" "Kaboom, burp, squawk" "Kiss ya, I'll be gentle, squawk" "Squawk, Black Scottish Cyclops" "There can be only... *whistle*"
They need to have something that triggers the Demoman to start sobbing when the bird goes "Rawk, one eyed bloody monster!"
it also needs to explode into feathers on death, because seeing my limp, dead body there and the parrot just chilling upside down bobbing around doesn't seem right.
it also needs to explode into feathers on death, because seeing my limp, dead body there and the parrot just chilling upside down bobbing around doesn't seem right.
- Updated Localisation Files - Wearing the Aberdeen now prompts a series of unique lines from the Macaw played during domination's and some voice commands - Killing a Demoman wearing the Aberdeen causes a small puff of feathers to appear - Likely broke something.
There are many a fine detail they could put into the game but I am saddened by the apparent fact that they will not, at least they will not unless there is some external encouragement.

I am seriously thinking about making a game with glasses as a TF2 promo just so they can put that in.
good lord ahahaha, I'm in tears [editline]30th June 2012[/editline] I want to see Meet the Demopan recreated. We need those source files to Meet the Demoman!
I was laughing pretty hard through the beginning, laughed a lot more all the hat wearing bullet, and BUSTED A GUT AT THE GAMEPLAY PART. I WANT TO TRY SOURCE FILMMAKER NOW!!!
via wiki testing * The Quick-Fix now gains speed from all sources of speed increase, such as the Eyelander and Gas Jockey item set. For the Eyelander you have to refocus the beam every head Demoman takes to get the boost. The Pyromania update will be one of those that's impact on bug fixing will go vastly underrated.
I always love updates that change really old or core game features.
I have to admit, the little tweaks that happened during Pyromania make it impressive, the crossbow is a much more valid weapon now. I'm pretty sad about the Tomislav nerf, but I feel it was needed.
I haven't been here since the Update released, sowwy for abondoning you guys, not happening again (until TOBOR maybe) So far, I'm in love with Pyromanía, the tweaks to old weapons are amazing, Crossbow, Crit-a-cola, Bonk and Cozy Camper are god damn useful now and for me that covers the "lack" of more weapons.
Does it gain it from a charging demo?
no idea [editline]30th June 2012[/editline] also it's weird, when sniper starts focus, he uses a battle cry. I think it'd be better if he used one of his quiet laughs or "hmmm..." he has. Yelling when you're getting focused is kind of backwards.
Promo items. I am seriously thinking about making a game with glasses as a TF2 promo just so they can put that in.
Spect-8. A puzzle game where you have to use a pair of special glasses to find secrets.
no idea [editline]30th June 2012[/editline] also it's weird, when sniper starts focus, he uses a battle cry.
Does it gain it from a charging demo?
Sure it's been like this a while. But I think it depends when you link your beam with the demo. If you do it while he's fast you move that fast for ever such a short while. If you heal him from start to finish, I think you see no change in your own speed.
also it's weird, when sniper starts focus, he uses a battle cry. I think it'd be better if he used one of his quiet laughs or "hmmm..." he has. Yelling when you're getting focused is kind of backwards.
Yes, the new weapons are supressed, supposed to be silent, the yelling really kills that feeling. Not a major issue, but, yeah, I think you understand.
Didn't someone say something about the SMG/Sniper rifle having muzzle flash? According to Wikipedia there shouldn't be a muzzle flash with silencers.
Call me crazy, but I think they stealth fixed the jumper's sounds on Thursday because now I hear them, when I didn't on Wednesday.
now that they dont have to devote so much time and effort into these big videos with lots of hype i'd love to see some mini-tf2 vids to promote events like the summer sale/halloween.
Call me crazy, but I think they stealth fixed the jumper's sounds on Thursday because now I hear them, when I didn't on Wednesday.
I recall hearing them back when they were first released, so it could have been just some issues with the sound occasionally not playing.
I'd like to see a proper workshop trailer. They just kind of said "oh hey, remember all those items we accepted, well now you guys can rate them!" without really anything A trailer showing off all the different items people have made, maybe with the classes going through boxes and saying "Ya!" or "Swell!" and putting hats on and stuff would be cool. "I have new wait to fight cowards" as Heavy pulls out Tomislav from a box or something. Basically a nice way to advertise the community element of TF2.
Waiting for someone to make Meet the Brainslug. Otherwise I may have to try to do it and then give up immediately after starting.
Did they do something to ctf capture crits or am I going mad?
Did they do something to ctf capture crits or am I going mad?
I haven't gotten them since the update. [editline]30th June 2012[/editline] what are the differences between the Hazmat styles? Anyone got some screenshots?
