About that Engineer's head bonking taunt: It could be used as a way to prove you are not a robot / robo-spy.

or it's like saying that a weapon with unique sounds is better than an identical, but visually less interesting weapon that lacks sounds.
Even so, the bootlegger is replacing the nadelauncher. To think that a completely passive item is a complete upgrade to an actual weapon simply because it's more visually interesting is silly. It doesn't matter if buffing it would make it an upgrade to the booties, because the only thing that matters is if it's underpowered or overpowered compared to the nade launcher.

Presumably the volume could be turned down.
The liquor locker sounds are alright though.

Didn't hats stay on death for a brief time? I've been noticing death turns into some merged conglomerate from hell.

Now they disappear AND the stock hats comes back on because of bodygroup errors. On anything that doesn't fall off, it just clips right into the stock hat.

well I'd imagine it won't sound that higher or be as noticeable when you're playing on a pub so it will be somewhat tolerable.

So give them the specific file names of the broken bottle, inform them that the bottle has this behavior, and suggest that maybe it's actually bugged, and that it might be set up properly on their end. They don't seem to respond to "your forgot to do this" but more to "this seems to have been the intended feature, but it does not work that way" and also the more technical details and specific file names the better. Chaofanait (awesome particle dude) knows this first hand, as it's taken like... maybe a week tops for Valve to implement things he suggests because he gets very technical and explains how it works and why it might be missing. My most successful emails have been that way also. "Here's the bug, here's what seemed intended, here's a fix for that, or the files where you can see that it was intended the other way" [editline]2nd July 2012[/editline] I know it's weird, but they seem to fix things faster when they're phrased in a way that makes them "broken" rather than forgotten.

It's an upgrade[/QUOTE] opinions? you think it's ugly, so everyone else thinks so? personally I love the booties, because they look like sharp pieces of armor. also I love the actual bootlegger sound. The chest sound is the one that could really get annoying IMO.
I wish they'd just add your kill icons to the game, ND. Consistency is the best, and Valve is just awful at that. When are you gonna release the newest version of them?
