Fuck, no code. Never got mine, never will get it. Why would they miss my email?
You can follow the developments here as more people seem to confirm it becomes premium: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2787167
Odd, my comcast email never got the code despite signing up on day one (yes I checked spam) yet my gmail account that I signed up after the first wave of hats went out got it today.
Maybe I'm naive and optimistic (actually scratch that maybe part I'm both of those already) but this seems like it'd be a nice surprise for those F2P's who genuinely took enough interest to follow the blog and some of the surrounding TF2 media.
so if you sign up to adult swim's thing now can you still get the code?
so if you sign up to adult swim's thing now can you still get the code?
"Sign up by 7/4/12 to receive your code. Click here for full details."
"Sign up by 7/4/12 to receive your code. Click here for full details."
yeah I know it's just that they still have the option to do it so I wasnt sure
oh lawd, apparently Robot Chicken codes upgrade accounts to premium now.
If I'm not mistaken, this would be the result of redeeming a Steam code as being a purchase for TF2 as far as Steam is concerned. Didn't Righteous Bison codes do the same thing when they were distributed?
Alright. Where to begin. Facts: The Capacitor and the Diary still exist. Some people here are still under NDAs with knowledge of things that will be in the game unrelated to Pyromania. We know Valve is working on some secret projects. Speculation: Endless. Foundry was the map where TOBOR was really brought to focus. Foundry has the The Crucible achievement. 137 kills. 137. 13/7. July 13th. July 13th is the last day of a week-long Robotics conference in Sydney, Australia that begins on the 9th. The Pyromania items expire on the 11th. We also, unrelated to the general line, have had Gaben himself openly discussing Steam's support for Linux. So that adds to the pot. If Steam comes to Linux, TF2 will be among the first things brought over. http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2012/07/valves-gabe-newell-reiterates-steam-linux-support
I hope this does not spawn another earbuds-like promo item.
Does anyone know if they're planning on making them tradable in the future?
Got the Bazooka bug working once, destroyed a sentry. Haven't got it working since, though i have been hearing dings which I presume is the other team taking random damage.
Still don't have my code... this sucks.
odd, on some servers it seems CTF Crits still work, but Valve has them disabled on their servers... why?
they probably still have the option but changed the default to be disabled.

Besides, if anybody deserves fun perks, it should be new people. They're the ones whose games pretty much just consistent of "Spawn, enter battlefield, die, spawn, enter battlefield, die" and so forth. We've got full backpacks and years of experience to play with. I think they're entitled to be thrown a bone occasionally.
Just give the codes some time. I freaked out because I hadn't got one on the 28th and signed up several email accounts hoping to get just one code (since there was a false rumor circulating that yahoo accounts wouldn't get them), and I got one for my university email already but none for my other gmail account, even though I signed up my gmail account first. I wouldn't worry to much about it: all the codes are genuine, so I expect this to be a craft hat.

If they're good Samaritans, they'll donate the codes to an F2P player who cannot afford to upgrade or give a friend an upgraded account as a surprise.
I hope this does not spawn another earbuds-like promo item.
Probably will, but the promo itself won't be treated like how earbuds are now.
I hope this does not spawn another earbuds-like promo item.
If it did, the linux 'earbuds' would be much more common, since everyone and their mother would probably install linux and get billions of the item on idle accounts. I know I would.

As long as nobody else's game is adversely affected, why not.

I'm hoping I did it in time.
Linux represent
What is this bug you're talking about?
Overload your Bazooka in air multiple times and you have a chance of hurting other random people for no apparent reason. Yay, Page king. Have a raffle. http://tf2r.com/kxnbllo.html
This video says that the self explosion actually causes two explosions, and that when the explosion kills someone else it does half damage to you since you're only misfiring one rocket.
the mini-crits on Heavy after he uses the GRU don't seem to work? I didn't hear any noise, and I was doing normal damage on hits. But he had the skull over his head
huh, wow, logged in to that raffle site and apparently I'm auto-banned for "possible alt accounts" oops, sorry for having two brothers. any way to appeal?
the mini-crits on Heavy after he uses the GRU don't seem to work? I didn't hear any noise, and I was doing normal damage on hits. But he had the skull over his head
Well, it does work, but for me it happens that some Heavies have the skull above their heads, even though they don't have the GRU equipped.
Well, it does work, but for me it happens that some Heavies have the skull above their heads, even though they don't have the GRU equipped.
the mark of death is suppose to last a few seconds after your put away the GRU. It's at that time it seems it doesn't actually work and the mark of death is meaningless.
