It deals the same damage as the shovel and gives you a speed boost. You don't even need to evaluate whether you should use Escape Plan or Equalizer. Escape plan is the better choice. It should get the damage nerfed to start from the same base as the Equalizer does.

Basically if your shot by a Pomson with your cloak out, Your gonna be down to 25% and decloak almost instantly.
