Major Update Speculation V5: Somewhere over the rainbow - Games

My last Steam buy was the Saints Row The Third Collection, too much of a good deal to pass it up, I will play it later, right now I'm on Ass Creed 2 and Just Cause 2 (and trying to play L.A. Noire without melting my computer). Right now the only thing we're waiting is the Hero Acadey crossover, which I'm gonna get only for the cosmetic items, I really don't care about that game, but those hats are tits.

There's no official proof that Valve decided to have no activities this Summer because of the russians or coal farmers. That's just pure speculation. But then again I'd expect Valve to learn from their mistakes and make some kind of event that doesn't involve coal or 1 cent retail games. It's not difficult. Yes, I'd love this sale to have some kind of activities scheduled. "But Costa we got some games at great prices". Yeah, and we got those in the past sales too. It's a fact that this year's Summer sale wasn't the best of all time. The sale achievement activities were fun as hell to do, I have the right to be disappointed. Contrary to popular belief, voting and collecting badges is NOT FUN.

So it's clear that the artist who drew the tree had drawn..."so much room for activities" on the final picture, but of course, to meld with the rest of the pictures had to be cropped out. How do you think the rest of the picture looked like? Here is a bit of what I'm thinking it could have possibly looked like: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/wL3iD.png[/IMG] I'm really curious about how Mr. Antlers is hanging there and how he would go back to the main base. It's sort of hard to see, but I think the artist might have wanted to draw a bridge of some sort as you can see faint black lines in the original image that seem to shape a bridge. Where do the stairs above "Purple Horns" lead to? It can't just lead into more tree so I think there was some sort of building or at least a patio of some sort and I think that's where the strings/ropes holding Mr. Antlers lead up to. Maybe we will get a whole picture tomorrow?

I just found out Community Schema 1.0 is why I have my current job. "We loved your ambition to tackle problems on your own. I really loved that little project you did organizing the items for Team Fortress 2. It showed you saw a problem, researched into how to fix it, and tackled it on your own"

What happened to that item that seemed like it was a Super Monday night combat promo? It was a backpack thing for the heavy. I saw it mentioned once but haven't seen anything else about it. I'm assuming it was changed.

I saved the artwork Makani did for the Summer Sale last year. I also have that one where she accidentally drew Chun-li with a toe in the wrong side. :v:

I'm guessing we'll get a TF2 item depending on how well we did with the Summer Badge, once the TF2 Summer Event comes out (I have a good feeling we'll get something within a week from now).
