Er, I hope I don't get Casali in trouble.
And I hope I'm not being an idiot and misremembering things. If I do, please don't hurt me.
So basically nothing new. You should have chosen better questions, no offense, but there are too many SPUF related ones.
I went as an emissary of SPUF, asking their questions. None of the questions are from me.

I'm fairly certain that unless you are told that it's supposed to be kept secret, it's fair game to tell other people. Even then, I'm pretty sure that no one will be getting in trouble for that in the first place unless you signed a non-disclosure agreement.
Its about that time someone posts that "It Begins" video

i'll always see casali as the guy who made final doom

When you saw Meet the Medic was it in the complete state that we saw it in?
When you saw Meet the Medic was it in the complete state that we saw it in?
It was an unrendered test version using stock weapons but story wise it was identical to the final version.
I don't think Huff is getting in some trouble just for saying "guise, we can start looking for clues", since we pretty much know now that Valve actually wants that.
Thursday, arrive soon, and many thanks Huff for the info :D
what if grordbort weapons did less damage against robots? that would keep em balanced in raid mode
what if grordbort weapons did less damage against robots? that would keep em balanced in raid mode
Because they aren't balanced in regular play and you know how raid mode is going to be balanced

It's now.
Speaking of L4D2 in the last page:
There was a blog update but in the game only, it says that this current update was pushed still as a Beta phase and the Release version will be released soon (I guess next week-ish).
steam came back up for me for a moment, but went down again. Anyone else have this?
Yep, just maintenance being maintenance.
DID SOMEONE SAY MAJOR UPDATE SPECULATION?

This thursday or next thursday?
we got confirmation that there's a large community big fix update coming, and another major project is on its last minute fixes and is practically ready to ship.
I think that's kind of a big deal
* insert tonight is the night posts for the next _ months* so we are probably getting schema 2.0 and some other "fix*STYLINUPDATE*es" and i would say that its probably a mannco update with the saxxy's and the mannconomy anniversary in one along with tobor.
no, but the stark contrast between a major TF2 update and a major L4D2 update is pretty amazing to see.
Cold Stream officially launched today and there isn't so much as a blog post on L4D's blog. No ramp up comic or teaser pages, or anything. A quiet release on a tuesday afternoon that nobody would even know was the official release of a DLC if they weren't paying attention
yes but maybe they realized that cold stream was shit along with the fact that they already have the L4D timeline straight so trying to fit where this would happen would be hard.
Also on steam being down prepping for a big update later in the week maybe? or its just maintenance
This thursday or next thursday?
This one I'd imagine.
i hope next update doesn't break my tf2 on linux :v:
so I was thinking, they could really make this community bug fix thing a legit big update.
Day 1:
Contributor's Badge: An item given to those who contribute non-item fixes. Sparkles
Contributor's Stamps and Stamp Bracelet: A rubber band charm bracelet thing. Buy "Contributor Stamps" and when you play on a server with the people you bought stamps for are currently playing on, the band drops stamps to show how much of a fanboy you are.
i-ghost's response rules pack + community made taunts for a few weapons
Updated workshop to allow animations, and script fixes with a new category.
Day 2:
Community Schema 2.0
Various community paint fixes, including paintable Aspect, Bonk Boy, and the fixes others have done for older items (plus the new paintable items Schema 2.0 makes)
Crit Glow Fix teaser with a crit boosted Apoco-Fists heavy next to my name on the schema credits, clicking it links to the submission
Day 3:
New styles and item updates!
Updated Dalokahs Bar!
Updated Airborne Armaments set!
New styles for the Grimme Hat, Rogue's Col Roul, Pugilist's Protector, Granadier's Softcap, Killer's Kabuto, Le Party Phantom, Western Ware and the Procedure Mask
Amputator and Crossbow LODs
Day 4:
Shipping day + full changelog!
...
Now I really want this :(
i hope next update doesn't break my tf2 on linux :v:
Even then, doesn't it break all the time on WINE?
Even then, doesn't it break all the time on WINE?
Nah, the only thing that's acting weird is ingame steam, but the game itself runs as smooth as it was on windows
